Xigmatek Aeos is a Micro-ATX chassis that's hard to match either in price or value. Specs-wise, Aeos can easily accommodate any top of the range 330mm graphic cards, 1 x 2.5in. SSD and 3 x 3.5in. HDD, but more importantly Aeos only takes up a fraction of the space compared to a normal tower with similar specs. This makes Aeos something spectacular. The overall design of Aeos is clean and simplistic, allowing the chassis to blend with any room setup. With this much value it’s hard to go wrong with Xigmatek Aeos. Aeos will fulfill the needs of any hardcore gamer.

3 out of 5 eggsIt's okay...

Pros: simple design, good fit for most components you'd expect in a micro atx case.

Cons: doesn't support micro atx PSU's, I got a micro atx psu and it slid right through the hole in the case. stupid if you ask me.

5 out of 5 eggsEnthusiast features at budget price

Pros: All kinds of little extras and features you wouldn't expect with a case this cheap.
Thumbscrews, bottom 2.5" mount, painted interior and screws, an included fan.

Cons: Minor build quality issues you'd expect with a sub-$50 case.
Front fan is not a Xigmatek branded fan (I couldn't find a retail version) and it was the loudest thing in the case. Can't complain much considering it's basically free.

Other Thoughts: Already ordering another.

1 out of 5 eggsDo Not Buy

Pros: I bought this case because it looked almost exactly like the old Think Center towers and thought that was cool. That's the only real advantage to this case; it looks cool.
The fan provided had options for both 4-pin molex and 3-pin KK motherboard connector.
That case would work great if you didn't have need for it's non-pre-cut PCI slots.

Cons: The first and most important thing is that the PCI slot cover are NOT really pre-cut. You can see a small intention where one would assume they were pre-cut but they are in fact not pre-cut. I used my screwdriver to attempt to remove but only bent the metal. Next I tried needle nose pliers, but the metal didn't separate where the lines of the supposed "pre-cut" lines; it instead ripped into the case and bent the metal more. I tried my best to salvage but the damage done and in the end I ended up with a mangled mess that will go in the trash. My recommendation is, if you buy this case make sure you own a dremel tool because you will be cutting you own PCI slots. Xigmatek is too cheap to pre-cut pci slot covers correctly so I warn again; DO NOT try to remove the PCI slot covers via traditional methods.
Fun fact, my case didn't come with a mother board speaker; first case in 15 years to not have a motherboard speaker.

Other Thoughts: I'm rewriting my review because I wrote my first review after I first tried to remove the PCI slot covers and as a consequence ruined the case and wrote my review in a fit of rage, My case will be thrown in the trash as it's PCI slots are completely unusable. If I can offer my cautionary tale to save any one person from buying a Xigmatech product then I will consider the money lost here to be worthwhile. I bought this case because I had an older system I was re-purposing but it's case was damaged on the face plate; unfortunately this case's face plate doesn't match up with the old case or I would have tried to use that.

1 out of 5 eggsWorthless

Pros: Nothing. I can't use it.

Cons: Because the one I got didn't have the PCI slots precut I wasn't able to remove the PCI slot covers the normal way with a screwdriver. I had to use a pair of needle nose pliers and the result is a mangled mess that I have to throw away in the trash.

Other Thoughts: I uploaded a video to show what happened when I tried to remove the PCI covers. They weren't precut! Now the case is ruined. I can't use this. My money is wasted. It looks completely mangled.

5 out of 5 eggsSleek. Simple. Affordable.

Pros: Wanted something not flashy with no lights just a normal grown up tower and this fits the bill! Nice black design yet modern, metal is a bit flimsy so careful when taking the side panel out or putting your rig together. Cable management does not exist so expect wires to be seen all over the place, I would recommend using black tap to cover the wires and get a all black motherboard, looks sexy as hell. Make sure your getting a Micro ATX Motherboard!

Cons: What you expect from a 30 dollar case, people just love to complain and complain... nothing worth mentioning CONS for this product.

Other Thoughts: MSI H81 M-ATX Motherboard
MSI GTX 750 Ti 2GB
Intel Pentium G3420 3.2 GHz
8 GB Hyper X Ram
120 GB Hyper X SSD

5 out of 5 eggsNot Bad

Pros: This is a SUPER cheap case. But is built well. For the price it is great. Everything fit like a glove.

Cons: No cable management goodies, but hey we are talking cheap here. There are things you give up for the lower cost.

2 out of 5 eggsWouldn't Recommend

Pros: Cheap, sleek, clean, light.
Good stock fan.

Cons: No cable management, at all. I
impossibly hard to mount your motherboard.
Front panels wires weren't soldered on.
Cheap material
Poorly placed stock fan.
Stock fans screws were stripped.
None of the screws for the motherboard fit, had to use my own.
Front audio slots have insane amount of static.
Front panel had scratched off gloss.
Front panel lights didn't work.

Other Thoughts: This is the second Xigmatek Case I have bought, and the last. I would not recommend Xigmatek cases to anyone. They are cheap, and look "good" for the price, until it arrives. Complete disappointment. It took me far longer than it should have to mount a motherboard, due to the fact that none of the stock screws fit in the holes they were meant for. None.
There is literally no cable management, which isn't a deal breaker unless you plan on seeing the insides....which this case has a side panel where you can.
The front panel was just completely F'd up. None of the wires were soldered on, and the lay out for the front fan is illogical. It barely pulls any air in.
Overall, save your money. Unless your on an extremely tight budget and the build is for a child or elderly person, this is a huge disappointment.
The only good thing I can say about this case is, the stock fan runs whisper quite.

5 out of 5 eggsI like this case!!! Update

Pros: This case is great for a first build and really great for a streaming PC. I have a ECS A960M-MV(1.0A) AM3+ in it and it runs great for my stream PC with a 4 core CPU inside. I would by this case again for a budget build and we know that there is better case out there and yes I would buy a different case for my gaming PC something like Rosewill CHALLENGER Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case.

Cons: Can't replace the PCI tabs in the back

Other Thoughts: Nice case for your first build good buy
