4 out of 5 eggsPretty Nice

Pros: I haven't had it for too long, but its really good at cooling. I have a 6-core cpu and I just used the stock heatsink and fan plus the case fans and it runs games at 60 something degrees. As far as noise goes, you can hear silent farts while its running. I thought it was extremely loud at first, but it turns out that a wire was on the fan like a card on bike spokes. Also this is my first PC build, and its a huge case, its about 20lbs with nothing in it and large enough to harbor a fugitive.

Cons: The back of the case, where the wires go, is pretty narrow.

5 out of 5 eggsLove the Tower

Pros: Great sleek look and the tower stays pretty cool. The fan access and case access are great. I found that the tower has a great built in cable organizer that works wonders! A full ATX motherboard fits great.

Cons: The instructions that came with the tower suck pretty bad. If anyone needs to know. The power button is the big plastic "X" on the top. If you are putting in a CPU liquid cooler you cant really line up the screw slows that are built in the case. The fans get in the way a little especially if you have a full ATX motherboard.

Other Thoughts: Great tower! Must buy!

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Sturdy.
Roomy for a mid-sized case.

Cons: I didn't need them but the instructions were rather poor.
Runs warm(poor circulation).
On/off button was broke.
Very little room to work with wires.

Other Thoughts: You defiantly want to add a liquid cooler or some fans on top. This case runs pretty hot. For the on/off button I just wired one I had laying around and modified the original whole for the button to fit it. Although I've had problems with it I do like the case. But obviously will move into a full sized tower after a while.

4 out of 5 eggsImpressive finish for the money, but the angled

Pros: Roomy for a mid-tower. Soft, rubberized finish is much, much nicer looking in person than the product photos would lead you to believe. Fits large 280mm radiator on top without looking silly. Lots of options for optional fans.

Cons: The 2.5 degree angle is purported to be a gimmick, and online review sites have shown that without extra fans or water cooling, this case is actually quite poor at cooling. Limited room for cable management; could have used even another 5mm of space behind the back panel.

Other Thoughts: I read online that, in factory configuration, the Talon was by far the hottest case tested. I had a number of fans from previous builds, so I reconfigured the fan placements. I moved the 200 mm fan from the front of the case to the top, installed two 120 mm fans into the front of the case, and added an additional 140 mm fan to the bottom drawing in cool air from under the case. In this configurations, I had no cooling issues whatsoever. I suspect that this case was intended for overclockers who were going to go directly to a large twin fan radiator on top, so Xigmatek gave you only the fans you'd need in that configuration and nothing more. I gave it 4 stars because I actually love it, but it doesn't quite rate 5 stars based on the assumption that additional fans or water cooling is required for the case to work properly.
