Diablotek Abyss mid tower case, like the fierce Diablo with overwhelming power, delivers robust performance and features you demand from a mid-range case. White coating, from inside out, adds style and elegance to your desktop, while the black meshes on front panel emanates contrasting aesthetics. You'll also appreciate the 0.6mm thick SECC steel construction that delivers enough strength and durability for heavy duty use. Other features such as front panel dual USB 3.0 ports, tool free drive bay design, bottom mounted PSU, 330mm graphics card support and water cooling compatibility make the Abyss a great choice whether you build a new rig or relocate existing system.

2 out of 5 eggsNot all that great

Pros: Cool Fan lights
ATX Mid tower

Cons: Not so good cable management, getting things in the back to tighten down enough for the side panel to close is very hard.
Stand off's (See Other thoughts)
Expansion covers don't go back on (See Other thoughts)

Other Thoughts: Like I said, the cable managment in this case isn't all that great, you can route a few cables but not very well. I payed $60 at my local computer store, (Shouldn't have done that)
Stand off are a pain to get in, not even plairs could do it, took it in the computer store to get then installed.
The expansion covers for the video cards and stuff do not go back on, so I have a bunch of holes where the covers should be.
I would stay away from the case if someone offers it to you, unless it is very cheap.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, cheap case.

Pros: Looks great, solid build, doesn't feel like it's gonna fall apart any second. Front fan is great. Bottom vents are great for fan dependability.

Cons: Cable management is a bit tight. Motherboard stand-off screws are tough to screw in/out sometimes. Front panel may look cheap to some people. Fake expansion slot.

Other Thoughts: I got this case for $25 after rebate and have loved it most of the time. I've had to completely take everything out and put new components back in 3 times now, and every time things went in easy. The mobo stand-off screws are a bit of a pain to screw in/out, but bit some pliers it's no big deal.

When the lights are out, the front panel looks really cool. The fan makes it look almost like a vortex of sorts.

For the price I am very impressed with this case.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: Adequate space for Multiple hard drives with most of them screwless. White LED gives a pretty white glow. Undamaged. Mine was an open box unit so price was reasonable. Fans are quiet.

Cons: White LED is very bright, especially when needing to run backups in bedroom and wanting to sleep. It is BRIGHT. I've seen more secure screwless designs for holding dvd players and HDs in place.

Other Thoughts: I'ts a case, what can I say. I didn't know when I bought it that the LEDs would be so bright, but I guess it's OK. I wouldn't pay full price for it.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat value.

Pros: Good quality feel. Design is constructed well enough for easy install. Nothing has a cheap feel with typical plastic cases to the point where I feel as though i'll break it upon installation.

Cons: Features are lacking, but for the value it's to be expected. If you want something better, pay for something better.

3 out of 5 eggsGood deal - after a rebate

Pros: Nice looking case for the price. Plenty of interior space, I thought, and room for all the big cards and drives you could ever want. Normally I hate cases with lights, but I really like the glow on this one. Really great airflow with the provided fans.

Cons: The case seems like a half-completed project. The SD card reader slot on the top is apparently just for show, there's no included mounts for 2.5" drives, and the cable management is terrible considering it has a bottom mounted PSU meaning there's going to be a lot of things need to be fed upward -- especially the CPU power connector. Case doesn't always fit together well, but for the price it's not bad.

Other Thoughts: With the rebate, this is (was) a great deal and I'd buy another DiabloTek case, but only after looking a lot more closely at it.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case

Pros: Lightweight but not flimsy. Easy to work in. Decent wiring channels.

Cons: ATX motherboard standoff holes were not tapped so I had use pliers to set them. Paint is chipping on the interior.

Other Thoughts: Needed a new computer case for work. Took me about an hour to migrate my hardware with minimal fuss. Not really a con but I did have someone helping me and they sad the SD slot cover and popped it off, not knowing it is empty beneath.

5 out of 5 eggsSturdy Good looking case!

Pros: So i haven't built my computer yet.. But this was a deal i could not pass up...After receiving this case for free with two mail in rebates, how cant i be happy!!!

After opening, the case feels very sturdy! and it looks great! I do see that the sd card reader is not real but thats not that big of deal. The internal room looks fine for the computer i will be building!! I will update once i piece together the rest!!

Cons: None thus far

Other Thoughts: I was going to buy this case when it went on sale for 25.99 a month or so ago, and i am glad i waited. Nothing better than a free item!!! especially one i was already going to buy.

3 out of 5 eggsCould be better ! Get the Black if your set on a Abyss

Pros: Looks nice, Smoke tinted glass

Cons: Paint chips very easy on this white model, White LED's are a bit overpowering.

Other Thoughts: Not a bad case overall but the Black Abyss is a much better value IMO.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case for the money

Pros: Well-built case.
Has at least some cable management.
Painted interior.
Tool-less design.
Front USB 3.0 with internal header.
Front SD card reader.
Included fans were very quiet in my case.
Looks very nice.
Good sized cutout behind CPU for installing aftermarket heatsink.
I prefer bottom-mounted PSUs (which this case has).
With rebate, will be much cheaper than any case of this quality that I have seen before.
Removable dust filters for PSU intake and the (optional) bottom fan.
I like that the side window is tinted a bit darker.

Cons: While there is some cable management, it is limited.
Case is a little cramped.
The back expansion slot covers don't appear to be replaceable one they are removed.
While I like the side window being tinted darker, I could see how it can mess with attempts at adding color, but it seems to be fine with the purple fans I added.

Other Thoughts: I found this case while looking for something for a build for my mother-in-law. She wanted something white with purple lights (since purple cases are nearly impossible to find). So I got this and 2 purple LED fans, and it looks great. Overall, I was amazed to find a case like this for the price I found it for, and even more amazed to find a case that I actually like that my mother-in-law wanted.

Just a great buy in my opinion.
