4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

This review is from: DEEPCOOL TESSERACT WH Mid Tower Computer Case SPCC + PLASTIC

Pros: -Plenty of room
-Plenty of expansion
-Plenty of fan options
-Mesh front and plenty of air flow
-Slight bulge in back of motherboard holder for plenty of cable routing along with lots of routing holes
-Tool less drive bays. Which can also be a Con since they could rattle with the spinning 3.5 and 5.25 drives.

Cons: -Drive Bays aren't removable
-Fan Mount screw holes can be finnicky, but from what i hear, this is normal
-Expansion slots are pop off slots, so don't expect them to go back on if you pop them out. Make sure you are popping the right ones out the first time
-Some of the metal just feels slightly flimsy

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this for a budget/first time builder like myself. It's a great looking case and plenty of customizability for such a low cost case. Easy to cable manage, and more than enough drive bays for just about anyone. Only problems I've had with it so far are that the case fan mounting holes don't fit my case fans easily. After a bit of searching the internet i found this to be normal. The screws are 'self tapping' which means they will have to be forced through. If your nervous about using that much force, I'm sure using a drill bit to slightly bore out the holes will work just fine.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid cheap little case.

This review is from: DEEPCOOL TESSERACT WH Mid Tower Computer Case SPCC + PLASTIC

Pros: PLENTY of fan space.
cable management was better than i expected in a $40 case.
Managed to Fit a pair of MSI 970Gtx cards in SLI (barely)
Looks prettier in person. I was unsure about the picture.

Cons: 1x 3.0 and 1x 2.0 top port? seriously? make me waste a header for one port?
it can hold 1 super long card comfortably.. that second 970GTX will be an extremely tight fit. thankfully i didn't need the Dremel.

Other Thoughts: My only issue in my build install was the tight fit of the second card in sli. read: the plastic cover was right up against the side of the drive cage. had to angle and wiggle it a bit to get it past the rolled metal on the drive cage. however its in, it run and no real issues. I did grump about the USB setup on the top. would it be so hard to just give us 2x 3.0 ports so I only use one header for 2 ports like normal...

Rest of install went swimmingly and had no issues. I'll update later if i go an AIO water cooler.. hoping it fits.....

4 out of 5 eggsGood for a Budget build.

This review is from: DEEPCOOL TESSERACT WH Mid Tower Computer Case SPCC + PLASTIC

Pros: This case comes with one fan pre-installed in the back. So far it has served it's purpose with my z170A motherboard and my 6600k cpu. I recommend this case to anyone building with a budget.

Cons: The covers on the outside of the case, for the pci express ports, are not able to be put back on. They are just cheap metal, but it's not too big of a deal.
One of the filters for the case fell off, but that can be fixed with some glue.
It was a bit challenging to get the motherbaord inside, since space is tight, but with delicacy it's possible.

Other Thoughts: Overall I recommend this case for a budget build.

5 out of 5 eggsIve worked on two of these cases now and Im pretty impressed.

This review is from: DEEPCOOL TESSERACT WH Mid Tower Computer Case SPCC + PLASTIC

Pros: -Very nice look.
-Front loading HDDs is very nice.
-Cable management is pretty good.
-Comes with every screw and tie wrap that you need.
-Front comes off very easily without the risk of breaking anything as long as your careful.
-Filters for the fans.

Cons: -The slots where the PCI slots are, remove but cannot be put back on.
-Not a lot of space for wire management behind the back panel, you really have to push the cover down.
-Amplifies noise from fans quite a bit. (i can hear my HDDs now too.)
-Watch out with micro ATX boards. If your card has the HDMI or DVI ports at the top (closest to the built in plugs) then you'll have a hard time fitting the cables in. the edge on the top most port hangs over about a cm.
-LEDs are SOOOOOO bright. other people are not exaggerating.

Other Thoughts: Ive worked on two of these. The first one was for a budget build for a colleague. I loved the case so much, I got one for my computer. Ive worked on both the blue and black one and this white and black one. They are both built the exact same. I have no experience with the windowed ones though.

If i had to buy another case for any build whether mine or someone else's i would definitely use this one again.

If your looking for a good case for under 50$ i suggest this one. It honestly is the only one that has gaming features that doesn't look like a kids case.

5 out of 5 eggsI'd buy this again. Light weight, very functional, and mostly metal.

This review is from: DEEPCOOL TESSERACT WH Mid Tower Computer Case SPCC + PLASTIC

Pros: I was pleasantly surprised by this case. It's inexpensive while having all the features I wanted. I really like having 2.5" mounts for SSDs. It has plastic trays with screw mounts. The drives face toward the cover, so they're easy to remove. Has lots of mounts for fans. Smaller metal mesh on the full front and top. Runs very cool, but has many spots for additional fans.

Cons: This case is great, but there are a few improvement areas. The blue power LED is very bright, but fortunately is mounted on the top of the case, not in the front. I'd also make a little more room to fish cables through the frame, but we managed to get them through without damaging anything.

Other Thoughts: I'm really surprised at how light this case is. Fully loaded, I bet it's not more than ten pounds.
Not sure why the power supply is mounted at the base, but I'd imagine that it says cooler without the CPU and Video card heat hitting it. It's also a nice color white. The screws are all black as well as the internal frame, which makes it tough to see, but after it's mounted, nice to look at.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case for the price.

This review is from: DEEPCOOL TESSERACT WH Mid Tower Computer Case SPCC + PLASTIC

Pros: Came with a non-LED fan, which I prefer.
Came with a speaker, zip ties, and all the screws and studs you might need. Including 4 long fan screws for the front.
Drive trays are 3-sided single piece tooless parts so hard to lose and not total junk.
Enough room for a large video card or two.
All front header plugs like USB and audio are a snap to install, and have plenty of slack.
Side panel supports 3 different sized of fans, looks like 120, 92, and 80mm.

Cons: In practice, you can't fit a drive in the top bay because of the front header plugs. You might be able to fit a fan controller if the internals aren't too tall/or deep.
No removable fan filters. The only fan slots that are filtered are the top 2 and it is a cheap glued-on filter. You can take it out, with no going back. Correction, there is also a filter for the bottom mounted PSU area.
Power LED brighter than a thousand blue suns. My roomate saw it blinking with the door closed. I am either going to unplug it or mute it with a marker so I don't accidentally go blind.

Other Thoughts: As weird ad it sounds, I like the texture of the case. The plastic coating gives it a soft feel. I have 6 fans it it right now, and maxed out it sounds like a wind tunnel. A good budget overclocking case.

4 out of 5 eggsGets the job done.

This review is from: DEEPCOOL TESSERACT WH Mid Tower Computer Case SPCC + PLASTIC

Pros: Unassuming appearance that looks like grandmas old desktop, lots of options for storage whether ssd/hdd, fairly good options for cooling, decent cable management, usb 3.0, server style hdd/ssd racks.

Cons: Only one fan included despite having 6 spots for them (120mm), hdd cage isn't removable which greatly inhibits airflow from front fan, front panel difficult to remove, top and side panel fan spots are kinda noisy.

Other Thoughts: Given the price point, its hard to knock this case. It's not terrible and will do everything you need it to, just not gracefully. As time goes on ive found myself pining for something more aesthetically pleasing with more features... but cant do it with this case functioning so well. The temps on my overclocked 6600k rarely exceed 40c, its not obnoxiously loud, theres not much else you could really ask for given the price. Considering how easy the hard drive bays are to service this will likely get repurposed as a server/nas eventually... its just too ugly to keep on the desk much longer
