5 out of 5 eggsBest Budget Case Out There!

Pros: Case is a great size for typical builds with plenty of room for components.
Can't beat the price, it comes with 4 fans which was a huge perk for me, and it looks great for the price.

Cons: Even with the four fans the CPU does run a bit hot, However it's silly not to have an aftermarket cooler on an 8-core FX processor, so I can't complain.

4 out of 5 eggsPoor Air Flow

Pros: Looks nice, Front USB 2.0 and 3.0, tool less design, painted interior, decent cable management... There's a lot to like about this case, especially for the price. It is sturdy and well built. I also like the bottom mounted power supply with holes to mount fan up or down, depending on your preference.

Cons: There are no top vents. I knew this going in, and thought the rear 120 mm fan would be sufficient. I have a Cooler Master Hyper T4 CPU cooler on an AMD FX-8350. The mounts for this cooler place the fans top and bottom. I did install a second 120 mm fan on the cooler for push-pull configuration. With fresh air fans in the bottom, the CPU cooler moves hot air to the top. On Prime95, this CPU develops so much heat that the rear fan cannot exhaust it. Massive amounts of heat build in the case. I removed the side panel and the heat came pouring out. In fact, there was so much heat that the room quickly rose to over 85 degrees! I had top open a window and turn a fan on. These steps quickly brought the CPU down to a relatively safe 61 degrees Celsius. If there were a 120 mm fan in the top of the case, the heat could be removed more efficiently. I am installing a Corsair H75 liquid cooler which will replace the rear fan with a radiator sandwiched between two rear fans exhausting out of the back. This should keep the case temps down at least, while keeping the CPU at a safe temp.

Other Thoughts: I'm not sure yet what to do about the room temps, but this only happens when all 8 cores are functioning at 100% utilization. I transcoded a Blu-ray movie to an MKV file in under an hour with only 40% utilization. In this scenario the CPU only reaches 51 degrees.

5 out of 5 eggsSuperb case for the money!

Pros: Easy access to all areas of case and easy to install components. THREE quiet built-in fans! Stylish appearance.

Cons: No instructions (but mostly self-explanatory anyway).

Other Thoughts: I bought this case on sale for about $30 including shipping. (Actually I bought two.) Such a bargain at that price. Installing motherboard, power supply, and drives was very easy. Newegg has apparently stopped carrying this (and the company may have discontinued it because this model is no longer on their website), which is a shame because it is a wonderful case...especially for the price!

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Good construction, good finish, inside and out.
-Right side panel has a bulge big enough to comfortable fit wires out of the way
-tooless mounting hardware for 3 HDDs and 2 optical disks
- comes with 4 120mm fans

Cons: -Front panel feels a bit cheap. Power and fan control buttons feel like they might snap off in your hand.
-The HDD slots are mounted by rivets in front of the screws to the front fan, making the fan impossible to remove without drilling the rivets or being a ninja with a screwdriver. If you don't want a blue lit fan in front, you will have to get creatve.
-The included fans don't move as much air as I would like.

Other Thoughts: Well constructed, though the front panel is unimpressive.

It has room for almost exactly 11 inches of gpu.

5 out of 5 eggsPC build for my mother's xmas gift

Pros: Okay firstly this chassis price for what it offers makes this case a great budget case. I mean it offers four 120mm fans for the sale price of 30$, and it comes with 3 actual 5 and a quarter drive bays for your dvd and blue ray burners and readers. it is pretty much based toolless design which I can say the thumb screws to this case are very easy to remove, easier than my 922 haf case, it is the little details I tend to notice after the initial look behind the side panel. It is made of mostly metal except the front panel plate is a glossier plastic, not a fan of the gloss but it still looks nice and not too flashy even with the front led light which happens to be blue. SO far I really think for the price point of which the case was bought for is an exceptional value.

Cons: A few small ones this cases hdd trays are very cheap in appearance and feel, which isn't so bad because the ones you keep in there will be covered by your mechanical drive. There isn't a ton of room for expansion other than let us say your more entry level to daily gamer build. This isn't saying you couldn't have a decent sized card with an after market cpu cooler, now personally I would go with something that is low profile unless you want to take out the two side fans that are set on intake, which is actually convenient for the gpu and cpu and finally ram that you might have in the case, now you might want to replace the two side fans with something that is more heavy duty if you are planning on having a more performance gpu.

Other Thoughts: Now what I will say is that if I was building a rig with a single higher end gpu, let us say I had a 3570/4670 cpu with perhaps a 120mm liquid cooling solution with 7970 OR 770 I would say this case would be fine in carrying these components. I think if you are going to have multiple gpu's with a 240mm radiator and several different hard drives...that you may want to put your money into a slightly more higher end case, though this case might be fine for the rig, but that is all preference and what each individual needs.

5 out of 5 eggsNice case

Pros: Nice clean install is easy, good wire routes, screwless drive install, fan controls and 4 fans (2 with speed controls). Also has enough depth for the largest CPU cooler (had to remove one fan ) for my Silenx .

Cons: As noted only drive trays for 3 hard drives but I have some old rails from an enlight case that work just fine with a little mod so do the plastic cheiftec ones but they need a bit more work .

Other Thoughts: Nice sturdy case that has everything I wanted ,side facing drive trays, bottom mounted P/S,front USB 3 and 2.0

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case for the price

Pros: The four 120mm fans that come with this case do a great job of keeping my fx4300 cool. The overall design is great! There is a decent amount of room for cable management and the metal isn't too thin like most cases at it's price level. Honestly a great case for the money.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Like many others have said there really isn't four 5.25in drive bays... but with a fan controller and a dvd drive... im not sure what i will/would use the last drive bay for let alone if I actually had the 4th drive bay.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case, Not 100% Usable

Pros: 1. Lots of room for mid-tower ATX although all of the space stated in the description isn't usable.
2. Solid construction
3. Screwless mounting in both the 5.25" and 3.5" bays
4. Four included 120mm fans
5. Fan controller (but this becomes a con also)
6. Front panel has USB 3.0
7. Bottom vents for power supply and/or fan
8. Thumbscrews for the side panels
9. Plenty of holes in the motherboard tray to do cable management.
10. Even with issues and my quibbles, is worth it for the money you're paying

Cons: The biggest issue, as others have stated, is that the description of this product is somewhat deceptive. It would be like me telling you I'm selling you a 4-door sedan, but come to find out, one door is welded shut.

Both the external and internal bays are not fully usable at the counts that are provided in the description. I think the description would have been better in those instances to have been similar to "External 5.25" Bays: 4 (3 usable)"

1. 4 External 5.25" Drive Bays: Technically this is true, but not all 4 are usable. The top 5.25" bay is taken up by the front panel and fan controllers.
2. 4 Internal 3.5" Drive Bays: This isn't true. There are actually six, BUT only 3 are usable because the bays REQUIRE the use of their screwless drive trays. No idea where they got 4.

Other Thoughts: All in all, this is still a decent price for what I paid ($39.95), and because I was forewarned by reading the reviews and knew what I was getting. I crammed an impressive amount of stuff in this case to colo at FDCServers for an ESXi whitebox (the build is below).

That said, I do wish I could have used all six bottom drive bays without having to have done some custom stuff with some plexiglass and my Dremel. I tested a couple of screwless HD rails I had in various configs, and their setup just doesn't fit any industry standards.

My Build
