Pros: after what i went through none at all

Cons: this was my first build for two months I had problems, power,beeping, and many others I went through 2 mother boards 3 CPUs, 3 sets of ram, and 2 PS before I realized it was this controller causing all the problems.

Other Thoughts: If you are a first time builder like me make sure yo read the reviews on every component that your buying.

Pros: This is an update to my reveiw from 3/20/2012. After using this for over one year I have had no issues save one reset which I think I may have done with the computer chair. I has kept time and settings perfectly and has been controlling 5 case fans with no issues.

Old review: Look and function. It fit right into my cd bays using the tooless drive rails that came with my Antec P-160 case. Exrta long leads . I have 4 fans connected to it, a 170mm, 140mm, 120mm and a 92mm. All fans function and display correctly including 2 that max at 2000 rpm, 1 @ 1400 and 1 @ 1100, right where their spec sheets say they should. The temp probes are no more brittle than any other probes I've used. Long leads are great for getting where I needed to in a big case. Temps are right in line with my other sensors readings and within 5% of my Fluke meters reading, good really. Manual control does work exactly as that, manual. The display is bright but not over stated and of course you'll have a hard time reading at angles over 20 deg, it's an lcd!!

Cons: No color options, not worth a point because I knew that before I bought it. The tape, once again not hardly worth mentioning since you can use the anti-static tape then run a piece of scotch tape over that, problem solved!

Other Thoughts: Owned and in constant use for over a year now with zero issue and still on the original battery. This unit has been flawless for me and has helped keep my case temps right where I need them. Looks killer too as people are always commenting on it when the see my comp.

Old review: I see people constantly ranting about "problems" that aren't problems, they are just the way that either all fan controllers are or are so obviously self induced due to lack of research, knowledge or just complete ignorance. I know bad units happen, that's a problem in everything electronic but mine arrived with obvious changes done to areas that had been mentioned as problematic in reviews, including ones from this site.

Pros: cool looking, work good.

Cons: does not work with turbo fans and sometimes tends to play with is self with the fans speeds on manual as it sometimes drops the fans speed low.

Pros: This is a good looking great working fan controller. It looks great in full tower cases such as the haf942(hafx) full tower case I am currently using. I think anyone looking for a good fan controller need look no further.

Cons: None yet.

Pros: I got this from a different manufacturer but it's the same model and have had it for awhile. It looks cool but aside from that the temperatures of the CPU at off by at least 10 c. AMD Overdrives shows my cpu at 33-40 at full load but the NZXT shows 26.5 , thats a pretty huge difference. ><

Cons: The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing with this thing. It's been wrong since day one and it's 3 years old. I didn't get it at newegg but from ibuypower from the "configurator"

Pros: Nice Features (If they worked as intended)

Cons: Ok, so if you have 200mm fans - forget it. The speed control is horrible. NZXT customer service is nonexistent. I've had it for a few weeks now. It started acting up the first time it was powered on. I have a HAF series case with 5 fans, the controller is unable to figure out the RPM range on the fans therefore making it useless. I must add that this happens at random! Meaning that sometimes it wouldn't control Fan 2, sometimes its fan 3, sometimes its 4/5 fans at the same time. Just absolutely useless.The temperature gauges are off by quiet a few degrees and the viewing angle is just horrible.

Other Thoughts: I started a case with NZXT on 3/1/13, it is 3/20/13 and I have not heard from them, even after several attempts to contact them myself.

Pros: I think out of the many fans I bought, this beats them all. Even though I only had for a few days, this not only comes with 2 fans, but they are actually silent. More quiet than the corsair and cooler master ones I got. The purple led at first during day looks like a light blue, but at night, they look like a lavender.

Cons: Wishes the LED were more brighter, and more dark lavender.

Other Thoughts: The led lights are decent. It's at a perfect brightness, be nice it be higher. I'm buying another one :) because its going replace the ones I have in my case.

Pros: Allows great air control

Cons: None of note so far

Other Thoughts: Does make a random beep from time to time and i haven't been able to determine the cause.

Pros: It looks good while killing your computer.

Cons: I've had every issue people are talking about here. Random beeping, dead batteries, poor view angle, etc. After about a year, I started having issues with the whole computer random powering off and not powering up. I thought it was the PSU, so I bought a new one. When the new PSU was powered on, the fan controller stated smoking and crackling. Long story short, new PSU is dead. Two HDDs are dead. I'm not sure what else, yet.

Other Thoughts: Buy at your own risk.

Pros: Good at keeping track off temps if sensors are place and pretty much taped down.

Cons: The Clock drains batteries like crazy and always resets. Keeping track of fan rmp's is ok, but I found it to not run them properly and put fans at extremely low speeds, let alone your suppose to to be able to select fans and such, mine doesn't anymore.

Other Thoughts: Its an ok tool for the 1st 6 months, after that its kinda only good for the case heat sensors since everything else gives out. Save yourselves the hassel and maybe try the newer models, maybe they've improved (most likely not).
