Pros: all good, works as intended,
controls fans from 40%-%100

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: i don't usually give the 5th star, but to order on a sunday and receive on Tuesday is remarkable for todays shipping and deserving :D

... and to all the "LED complainers" i fixed my white light within 5 minutes ..... pull off buttons, remove fr panel and diffuse(sand) the white led and color w a Sharpie w 2 coats, reassemble .. voila custom LED color of choice :D

2 out of 5 eggsPoor Customer Support

Pros: Starting with the good, the controller looks good in my Corsair 600T and does a good job controlling the fan speeds (ranges from 40% at lowest to 100% at max).

Cons: Unfortunately, the controller causes buzzing in my 200mm BitFenix Spectre Pro fan. No buzzing at minimum and maximum speeds, but anything in between causes a loud and annoying buzzing noise. I do not have this issue with my two 120mm BitFenix Spectre Pros, and the integrated fan controller on my 600T did not cause buzzing in the 200mm fan.

Other Thoughts: Even more unfortunate, I tried contacting NZXT for 2 weeks with no response.

Terrible customer support and I seriously doubt I will buy another NZXT product as a result.

Manufacturer Response:

Hi Alex,

We're sorry to hear about your difficulties in reaching NZXT Support. Would you be able to contact us via phone at 1-800-228-9395 anytime from the hours of 9:30-5:30pm PST M-F? One of our customer service representatives can initiate an RMA for you with your fan controller, which seems to be defective.

Please let us know how we can better assist.

Sincerely,
NZXT. Support

5 out of 5 eggsSurprised

Pros: Makes my prodigy look 10 times better, has a sturdy feeling, power light is not too bright, able to control the brightness on my LED fans. Overall I'm happy with this controller.

Cons: N/A

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: 5 fans.
30 watts per fan.
Mesh design to match my case.

Cons: Some have noted that this may make some fans sound "weird". Like they are off balance or have a whine/hum. I noticed this is more so the case with "cheap" fans. I replaced all my fans with performance fans and so far so good. It will only happen when I turn the fans up or down very quickly but when I raise or lower them slowly, like a good fan controller would, I don't get the negative results.

Longevity is questionable. Lots of plastic.

5 out of 5 eggsBest fan controller I have ever had

Pros: I have had this controller for about a year now and it still has all the channels working at full power. Matches the front bezel of my case. Has been more reliable and powerfull than any other fan controller in this price range i have found. Not to mention that these channels are 30 watts which is pretty high for a fan controller

Cons: not a con but i wish that they gave a color choice for the led

Other Thoughts: I have tried multiple fan controllers and this is by far the best one i have ever used. Im about to try the new version they got out now

5 out of 5 eggsnzxt mesh

Pros: cheap n it works really well will fit the most common drive bay can hook up to 5 30watt fans sliders instead of knobs which wont interfere with a front cd drive door basil which i have a gateway dx4860 and its strongly built

Cons: nothing yet but only had it for not even a day but will make another review in a month people's been saying stuff like it makes a buzzing noise i think it does at the lowest setting but i cant really hear it even when i put my ear right up to the fan so i dont think it does with my 2 60mm evercool fans

5 out of 5 eggsNZXT Sentry Mesh Fan Controller

Pros: It works great and shipping was fast.

Cons: It makes a quiet buzzing noise if its not set at 100% or the lowest setting, it doesn't match my case as well as I would like, and the led light bothers me.

Other Thoughts: I am glad I am now able to make my silent fans even quieter.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Just what I needed, allows me to throttle down my 4 2000rpm case fans. No vibrations on mine, that was my main concern. Easy to set up and cables are plenty long. The mesh matched my case well too (coolermaster n200).

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Inexpensive, attractive, and well built fan controller. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Long cables, smooth rheostat action, high wattage (meaning using splitters you can have a ton of fans installed).
Comes with a double-headed Molex cable, which saved me a surprising amount of cable trouble!
It works. My rig is so quiet with everything turned to minimum.
White indicator light is a very tasteful choice over the overused, gaudy blue LED. Over aesthetics are very clean and refined.
If the rheostat is good (read below for more), the controller provides fine control over any 3 pin fan.
The header cables are removable. This is a big plus for people who will not be using all of the channels.

Cons: 1. It does NOT have the same mesh as the Aperture M. It's of a much finer mesh. It's like comparing a cheese grater to a mosquito net. If your case has this kind of fine mesh, yes the advertisement is true and this controller will blend in fine. However, with a case like mine and especially with the Aperture M directly above the controller, it looks EXTREMELY out of place. If you don't care, then great!
2. The rheostats are a hit-or-miss. 3 out of the 5 rheostats in my controller have a buzz; 2 of the buzzes are soft and negligible, but this one rheostat has an extremely loud whining noise at any positions other than min or max. This is quite an issue since with every fan turned to their lowest settings, if I nudge the slider even a little bit, the whine becomes the most apparent noise in the entire room.
3. There is no option to turn a fan or the indicator LED entirely off. Perhaps this is a safety measure to ensure that your rig does not overheat, but I would have still liked this feature to be there.
4. The rightmost slider has significant light bleed through the side from the indicator LED.
5. The controller, as with the Aperture M, comes with only 4 screws. NZXT, don't put 8 holes in the controller if you're only going to give us 4 screws!

Other Thoughts: The buzzing/whining issue seems to be a common defect. I assume this is from the rheostat having poor winding or insufficient coating, but I am not sure. The whine sounds like a DC motor, like the ones they sell at hobby stores.
The controller is also compatible with Molex to SATA converters, as I discovered while I was building.
Also, the 5.25" enclosure for the controller is identical to the one used in the Aperture M.

5 out of 5 eggsNothing Wrong, but ...

Pros: Simple to use, simple to set up. As quiet as a tomb! Saves buying a new case with fan supply built in.

Cons: But ... The CPU Fan needs to be plugged into the MB, or the POST may hang. The answer could be a cable configured to use the speed control. This is the most essential fan of them all.Moreso when OCing.

Other Thoughts: Seems like the unit should be used inverted so the electronics would be protected. Have you noticed MBs are always short one or two fan sockets?
