5 out of 5 eggsGreat for older cases with poor airflow

Pros: Directs CPU airflow outside of the case.

Cons: Very difficult to linup without the perfect case/motherboard combination.

Other Thoughts: Purchased this to direct the heat from my AM3 Phenom back in the day. It lowered temps by about 3 degrees Celsius. It did the job, but inevitably I went liquid cool and now it just sits in the junk drawer.
It still gets 5 stars because with the perfect placement, this thing could seriously lower temperatures in your rig.
My recommendation is to use one of these on the rear case fan and get a standing heatsink. This will also push hot air from the Hard disks if your heatsink is strong enough and close enough.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Cheap, Sturdy enough.... comes with screws?

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I actually attached this directly to the stock cpu cooler fan. This lets the cpu extend to the ventilation in the side of my case. I then covered the rest of the ventilation with clear plastic sheet. So for 3 dollars i took a poorly designed economy case and turned it into a proper home for my beast.

4 out of 5 eggsCPU fan is cool air intake

Pros: length extendable right onto the CPU's fan. Flare end means side panel hole doesn't have to line up exactly. Outside air obviously cooler than recirculating CPU's hot exaust back through itself over and over.

Cons: telescopes just 25MilliMeters this version.

Other Thoughts: Use to have to rob these from discarded PCs.
Morse 3 1/8" carbide tooth holesaw when side panel has no hole. As lint trap, any 80mm fan filter ( prefer pleated wire mesh) covers sharp edges.
