3 out of 5 eggsLasted 2 years

Pros: Purchased and installed this 2 years ago. One of the tubes is now dim and slowly dying. They look cool, but i think i'll go with LEDs next time.

Cons: Lasted about 2 years

5 out of 5 eggsQuality Lighting, as always

Pros: This light system will not disappoint you, they are quality made and include everything you need to set them up. I used to have their single cathode one in my old computer and it has lasted more than 8 years, and continues to work for the new owner.

Cons: Absolutely none.

Other Thoughts: This kit fit in my extended Full tower case where I put one on the top and one on the bottom, and I still had a little wiring left to route with.

BUY THIS KIT IF YOU WANT RELIABLE LIGHTING!

4 out of 5 eggsGood For Price

Pros: -Bright and protruding
-Work well (as advertised)
-Livens up the case

Cons: -The wires are very short and can make it very difficult to orient and place the tubes in desirable locations within your case. I had to put one tube in the front and one on the bottom instead of one on top and one of the bottom because the wire isn't long enough to go across the height of my case.
-There is also this really tacky box that is the center hub for the two cathode tubes to be plugged into. Kind of big, has some sort of speaker holes on it from which I've never heard anything from, and is generally very clunky.
-Cheap, poopy Velcro that is also really tacky and doesn't work too well.

Other Thoughts: The little box connects to a molex connector which connects to an expansion slot for on/off switch on the back of your case. All-in-all, this little hub box ruins the setup and is unnecessarily large (something like 8cm x 3cm x 2cm.

4 out of 5 eggsExtremely Affordable lighting

Pros: $8 dollar for dual color lighting
-Looks good
-12 inches of blue goodness

Cons: 1 star from perfect because the Velcro that is used in the kit is awful. My lights were falling when moving the PC.

I would advise using a different more permanent solution.

3 out of 5 eggsJust okay!

Pros: Very bright! Inexpensive.

Cons: A different color blue. Didn't really match my color scheme. More wires. Tough trying to hide the blue power supply that comes with it.

Other Thoughts: To be honest, it really isn't worth it. Yes it is only $7.99. It's more of an eyesore than anything else. The best thing to do with these cathodes is to completely hide the tubes so that it accents the rest of the inside of your case. I actually put them behind the motherboard tray.

3 out of 5 eggsBright but not blue

Pros: Very bright and easy to install/use.

Cons: Not the color blue you might think. It's actually more white than blue. It's merely a white light with a blue film over it. I was disappointed that it didn't match the normal blue color of my LED fans in my rig.

Other Thoughts: I'd give it 5 eggs if it was actually blue, but it's not. So be warned.

4 out of 5 eggsGood lighting, bad adhesive

Pros: Lights up my case well

Cons: The Velcro is strong, but the sticky part is not, it kept falling down. I ended up using hot glue to stick it in place. Also, the cords are not very long, I had to add some wire to make it fit.

Other Thoughts: Even with the cons, it's still worth buying, you've just got to put a bit of time into it.

4 out of 5 eggsNeeds improvement but overall solid product

Pros: -Bright, but not too bright
-Does exactly as advertised

Cons: -Cord is so short it is literally impossible to use two in my full tower case (one cathode on top and one on bottom
-Adhesive completely fails (fell 3-4 times before i just decided to super glue it)
-Seems to get a little warm, which i guess is to be expected from a light source.
-Ugly wires

Other Thoughts: Although the cords are short and i was unable to use both cathodes, one cathode is plenty enough to fully illuminate my entire case, and they are cheap enough to where if I was so inclined i could just buy another cathode to get two of them in there. Regarding the ugly wires, theres two wires, a red one, and a white one. it kind of stands out in my case, but once again if i was so inclined i could just shrink tube it. All-in-all its a solid product that does what it's supposed to, there's room for improvement, but at that price, you can't expect it to be perfect. 8/10 would buy again.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks great, but adhesive sucks

Pros: Fits well inside my case and lights it up really well.

Cons: As the title suggests, the adhesive sucks. As soon as your case starts to heat up, the mounts loose their stickiness. Though the weird thing is, it's the one farthest away from the CPU that keeps falling.

Other Thoughts: It's worth the money, but you should find better mounting tools for it.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very bright, but not so bright it blinds

Cons: The cable length is way too short. Have to put the blue box part smack right in the middle of my case (that is all black) by the power supply for the cathodes to actually reach the side panel (using a Fractal R4)

Other Thoughts: Still a good buy
