5 out of 5 eggswill this fit 15mm 2.5"?

Pros: Dont own it yet so not sure.

Cons: Not enough documentation. Supermicro support also doesn't specify which drives this will/will not accommodate.

the images appear as if it will only take the standard 9mm, but photos are a bad way to judge.

Other Thoughts: If someone could point me in the right direction or a case where this works it would be awesome. If it takes the fatty 2.5" its a steal.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect fit

Pros: Fits perfectly in my 5015A servers, comes with 8 screws for attaching 2 x 2.5" drives and 4 screws for attaching bracket to server chassis. This is the only way to go if you want to run 1 or 2 SFF (2.5") drives in your 5015A server.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Makes good use of the single 3.5" drive slot in the SUPERMICRO SYS-5015A-EHF-D525 1U Intel Atom D525 Server Barebone.

Cons: A bit pricey for a chunk of metal, but it does its job without complaints.

5 out of 5 eggsShould be included... But it Works

Pros: Well it does exactly what it's supposed to do. It turns the 3.5" mounting holes into a bracket that can hold 2x2.5" disks.

Cons: This should have been included in the original server. But other than that. It's a solid bracket.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Dual drives in Supermicro's Atom chassis servers.

Cons: If you have a PCIe card in the chassis (connected to the riser) the height of the dual drive bracket will interfere with the PCIe card space depending on the size of the card.

Other Thoughts: Dual drive bracket is cheaper than the single drive version of the bracket.

The Intel EXPI9402PTBLK PCIe card will fit in a chassis with the dual drive bracket. A higher profile card than this one would probably not fit.

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent Supermicro accessory

Pros: Allows for installing two 2.5" hard drives in a 1U Supermicro SuperServer 5015A- in a RAID-1 configuration. Much better than a single 3.5" drive setup.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: We replaced a failing 3.5" enterprise class Samsung drive with two 2.5" WD drives in a 1U Supermicro 5015A- Atom-based server. 2.5" x 2 in RAID-1 much better than previous single point of failure.
