5 out of 5 eggsGood product

Pros: Easy to install
Easy to clean

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Foam filter catches lots of dust without obstructing airflow. Don't forget to clean it once in a while! Cover snaps off, allowing you to wash the filter.

If you have an 80mm intake fan, this is the dust filter you want to buy.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Works just like the 120mm ones that I have. Appearance is the same so my case matches.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: Should of gotten this earlier when I initially did my build.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Filters

Pros: These work very well, and are relatively inexpensive.

Cons: Cannot really think of anything con here.

Other Thoughts: If you want to keep a lot of dust out of your case, use this filter, or this kind of filter. Yes, it does drop the airflow down slightly, but they catch a lot of dust and are washable. Great investment if you want to keep the interior of your case dust free over a long period of time.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Pros: Fairly easy install, one the filter cover has been removed. Three piece installation that will function inside or outside the case. Cleanable, breathable material

Cons: Not really a con, just a system issue \/

Other Thoughts: I had to modify both the grill and the filter cover to fit on a heatsink fan for a Dell 530s. The heatsink fan is the only air intake for the system, and the installation of the assembly put pressure on the heatsink and the adjacent system exhaust fan and would also put pressure on the heatsink. No serious matter though, as I took a hot knife and trimmed the corner that was pushing against the exhaust fan and I also trimmed the risers off of the bottom of the grill. Now the entire assembly fits nicely without any extra pressure.

TIP: The corner being cut off also helps in removal of the cover in order to clean the filter.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap. Filtering capability looks ok.

Cons: These filters are designed to fit on the outside of the case. The filter element is held between two plastic grates and only one grate has screw holes. Thus you have to take it apart to install it. I like to install these on the inside of the case so I have to drill out screw holes on the other grate. I took an egg of because of this. Not a big deal though; just something folks should be aware of. And be sure to remove the filter element before you drill the holes so you don't tear it up like another guy on here did.

Other Thoughts: Filter element reduces air flow a fair amount (which is to be expected). I also have a 120mm Bgears filter and it seems to maintain airflow better so if you have the room go with the bigger size. Haven't had it but for a few days so we'll see how much dust it traps. If it isn't enough, I'll probably go down to the hardware store, get an A/C filter and cut the element out to fit this one.
