5 out of 5 eggsFits/Works Well

Pros: Bought it just in case the fan I was installing would vibrate and cause more noise than it should.
Easy installation

Cons: After some thought, I learned that I didn't really need it, since I was screwing in the fan tight enough to the case that it wouldn't vibrate at all. But still nice to have just in case.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for Radiator Mounts

Pros: I use silicone mounts wherever I can to eliminate vibrations between my fans and my case, but regular rubber screws won't work for mounting fans to a rad. These are the next best thing!

I was using 'silent' fans in push/pull on a 120mm rad but was still getting some audible vibrating. With one nexus absorber between each fan and the radiator and one more between the rear fan and the case that's no longer a problem.

Plus they're super easy to install.

Cons: A little expensive all things considered, but can you really put a price on silence?

Other Thoughts: My PC is now whisper quiet, just the gentle 'woosh' of moving air. Great product!

5 out of 5 eggsNice Product

Pros: Fits like a glove. Easy to use for Fan to Radiator mounting.

Cons: It's not the whole solution.

Other Thoughts: Fan to RAD mounting requires screws. The rubber pulls don't fit. I put heat shrink or electrical tape over some of the screw threads. I bought some rubber washers at ACE hardware. Why doesn't anyone have rubber shoulder washers for fans?

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Addition

Pros: Good fit, good material to dampen vibration and sound.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Get these when you order something else so you do not pay huge shipping. I have used these on my 120mm fans now for a few years and they do a nice job of isolating the fans from the case, or your high performance CPU Heatsink.

5 out of 5 eggsit works

Pros: It works as advertised.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It decouples the fan from the metal it mounted on so noise and vibration are not transmitted and amplified. It works.

5 out of 5 eggsNice addition to any rear fan.

Pros: Absorbs the mild vibrations coming from my push-pull corsair h-50 mounted to the rear of my case. Made a noticeable difference.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Get it! If you at all concerned with the depth of the absorber, its roughly 1/16th of a inch deep.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what it's supposed to.

Pros: Fits each fan perfectly.
Even does something that it was not intended to do in the same application I have them in.
Fairly cheap when combined with large orders.
Silicon so they aren't cheaply constructed.

When I ordered my system, I already had the fans for my Cooler on hand but wanted to make sure that they didn't vibrate and make more noise as a result of my configuration.

Cons: I dunno...

...they don't control fan speed? Aren't gold plated? Doesn't cook breakfast in the morning?

I know, they don't hatch little absorbers so I can't make my money back and a profit in the process.

Other Thoughts: My system

HAF 932 lightly modded at this time.

I used these to seal the top fan to the case and to the radiator of the H50. Then I used the 3rd one to seal the lower fan to the bottom side of the H50 as well. Because if there is going to be any vibration you'll get it in this configuration. No need to give it a 1 egg rating if it's probably doing what you got it for. Stopping vibration/noise. I fail to see how it failed your demand. Not only does it do it's job it performs another function in my case by sealing my setup so that the maximum amount of air flows over the vanes of my H50 Radiator. Bad form for the 1 egg

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth it.

Pros: I can say that it seems well made. Fits the fan perfectly.

Cons: I bought this to create some distance between the fan and the case's air filter and it did not work as I hoped - it turned out thinner than I thought. But, that's not the reason this item gets such a low rating from me.

As an absorber, I did not notice any difference with it, maybe my fan was already attached to the case well enough not to cause any vibrations.

I would not give more than a $1 for this item.

Also, I had to round the corners, by cutting extra rubber at the corners because otherwise the extra rubber would be interfering with airflow.

Other Thoughts: I think I might just throw this out. At least, I gave these absorbers a chance.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I now have five of them sitting inside my Cooler Master Storm Scout along with the R4 fans I installed. Before I had the absorbers, it sounded like I had an airconditioner right beside my leg, except it blew warm air. Now it sounds more like a quiet fan. Pretty decent improvement.

Cons: For pieces of rubber, these are pretty expensive. I don't mean to copy the previous cons, but these things can use a cut in shipping costs.

Other Thoughts: I'm the recipient of those absorbers square tofu couldn't fit into his 800D (refer to earlier review).
