5 out of 5 eggsWay more durable than others I have used

Pros: These things really got beaten up when I was trying to use them in a front fan that had to be slid on a fan try behind a grill. A couple of them caught some edges and the tops of them stretched about 4 or 5 inches the edge of the fan. Figured they were ruined. Pulled the tray out when I realized they wouldn't fit and they snapped right back in to place.

Other fan mounts that I have used seem to break if you look at them wrong. I would love to have a couple dozen of these lying around.

Cons: Price seems a little steep for 4 Fan Mounts.

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: It does it's job, no complaints.

Cons: Not sure if it's my case, the case fan, or these. But they slip through rather easily. As long as I don't mess with it, it's fine.

Other Thoughts: Kept the 5 eggs because I can't really diagnose the problem and determine whether or not it's the product or some other factor.

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Can't hear my fan vibrate,

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Have a 120mm fan mounted with them, and they keep it quite quiet. Aside from difficulty installing them, me not wanting to unplug wires and move things, they are a solid investment.

3 out of 5 eggsSilicon Fan Mounts

Pros: -Anti-vibration mount
-Very soft

Cons: -Very soft
-"Universal fitting"

Other Thoughts: I bought these to use on some closed case fans that I wanted anti-vibration mounts for. Installation was pretty smooth and easy, but there is nothing that holds the fan in place well. If it were used on an open case fan, there would be no problems, but used on a closed case fan, I'm a little skeptical of whether it will hold or not. I currently have a set holding a 140mm fan upside down in my case, so I'll find out if they hold or not.

5 out of 5 eggsThey Seem to Work

Pros: Not too hard to install after checking the manufacturer website for directions (just pull through the case), and they stopped the top fan on my case from rattling as much (it's so quiet at idle now that the cpu fan is the loudest part, and the case has five fans installed).

Cons: Nada.

3 out of 5 eggsBreak easily

Pros: Reduce vibrations and noise.
Still soft after over a year.
You can cut the end off if it's too long.

Cons: Too wimpy; I break roughly 1 in every 5 during installation.

Other Thoughts: Bought several of these. If you're very careful during installation (and pull straight, not bending sideways) then you can install without breaking. But I find them fragile. Noctua makes stronger silicon mounts but only sells them with their fans; I wish I could buy theirs separately.

4 out of 5 eggsExpensive but worth it for less hassle

Pros: Very stretchy. had no problems pulling them through my case mount and fan a few times as I mounted it wrong. I can see how some people might have broken the ends off. There is less than a mm of silicone holding it. Way easier to use than the mounts that came with my cougar fans.

Cons: expensive

1 out of 5 eggsjust awful

Pros: in theory they can reduce noise caused by fan vibration. however any potential "pros" are negated by nil documentation and apparently poor quality, which lead to two of them breaking, rendering the set useless.

Cons: no documentation included, two if them broke during the installation process, overpriced.

1 out of 5 eggsNot useful

Pros: -None

Cons: -Hard to install
-Too small
-Do not stretch a long enough distance
-Too fragile
-The "heads" are not wide enough, so sometimes the entire piece slipped through the fan while installing

Other Thoughts: Each of the four pieces broke before I was ever able to obtain a tight fit with both sides of the fan. On one piece, the "head" sheared off completely, rendering it useless.

5 out of 5 eggsExpensive for what you get

Pros: Easy / Fast to Install
Zero Reduction, makes a quiet PC quieter.

Cons: Price, I got 5 of these per fan when purchasing some Silenx fans FOR FREE.

Since you have to reach from the inside, can be difficult in tight fitting (dual front exhaust e.g.) situations to reach the part you have to pull

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for low fan noise, start with purchasing some quiet fans and then see what you need
