5 out of 5 eggs50w Fan Controller

Pros: The finish is good and I like the fact that it uses high quality components. Also the inclusion of the 3 pin extension cables.

Cons: Price is high, but you do get what you pay for. As others have noted, the levers are not quite level. But they are functional.

Other Thoughts: I like the adjustability of the fans to be maxed out. The downfall is that the fans can be quite loud at full power. Or whisper quiet when full cooling is not needed.

5 out of 5 eggs50 Watt controller

Pros: Knob came apart - don't care that's what epoxy is for - the choice is limited unless you DIY. They tame my San Ace 120, 4 Amps at 6000 RPM - 260 CFM is a bit loud but this controller has no issues with them.

Cons: Expensive - Max Power runs at 11.3 Volts so 100% is not 100% - set the fans up with a switch - runs at full power or funs off the controller - problem solved.

Other Thoughts: Expensive but does the job.

4 out of 5 eggsJust awesome, but they can do better

Pros: Looks awesome in my Thermaltake ARMOR A30. Six colors to choose from, White, Blue, Green, Cyan, Red, Purple, Yellow.

Cons: Can't use it to control my fans... lol... It takes 3 molex connections to power this thing correctly, but fan outputs only use the smaller 3-pin male connectors, all my fans in my case have molex connections, now i have to
1. Go buy adapters.
2. Go buy new fans...
3. OR, Mod the fans power connections..
Either way it's annoying...

Other Thoughts: Not all fans are created equal. How could such a simple thing be over looked for a FAN CONTROLLER???

Please, start include some 3-pin male connectors to molex adapters.

5 out of 5 eggsOnly one that can handle the big fans

Pros: I've had it for several months now. I've got 2 48 Watt fans on controllers one and two, 5 12 watt fans on controller three (fans are on medium) and all of the case lights on controller four. It's not caught on fire. Of coarse before I ran current through anything, I checked each component to make sure it was rated high enough to actually uphold the company's claims, and they all checked out. I will tell you though, if you get the 1st PCcorp fan and hook it up, the motor does have a pretty high startup voltage, so you'll have to crank it up to full then slowly back it down to where you want it. That's not the controller's fault.

The part works like a champ and it's the only thing I could find prefabricated to do what I needed it to do. I was using some rigged rhiostats. But this unit looks sharp and I have no complaints with it's operation.

Cons: I saw people complaining that the levers aren't 100% level and what not, and they where right. I don't think this thing was designed by an interior designer. It was designed by an engineer. I think it looks good, but it could have looked like dog doodie and I wouldn't have cared because it does it's job safely.

Other Thoughts: I think UPS brought it to me, so it had prolly been used as a foot ball in a few company games. So when it got to me the box had foot prints and I'm pretty sure had also been swatted around with a light saber. Anyway, a few of the heat syncs where loose. But obviously from being shot out of a t-shirt cannon head on at a semi on the autobon.

I would suggest when you get this, before you do anything else, get some lock-tite and unscrew everything, coat the screws and bolts and put it back together. You'll see where they did the same thing, but some of the parts will most likely have been broken loose by Conan the Barbarian or whomever UPS hired to deliver your package.

5 out of 5 eggsLooks great; Works

Pros: This fan controller is awesome. I bought it for use in a new build of mine. This is the first build that I have set up watercooling. I have a triple radiator (3 x 120mm Fans). I decided to connect the 3 radiator fans to this controller in addition to some case fans on my Corsair Obsidian 800D. Everything is working as intended. This thing matches my case perfectly and goes very nicely with my blue theme. ^_^

Also, this fan controller comes with 4 extension cables that are at least 1 or 2 feet long. This was nice as I would have not been able to connect some of my fans if it were not for this generous inclusion.

Cons: The only thing I can think of is that there are only 4 channels. I'm sure there is a way to connect multiple fans in a daisy chain but I chose to just connect the fans 1 to each channel. I'll likely daisy chain some fans in the future but this works just fine for now.

Other Thoughts: My build:

Intel Core i7 3770k Processor
Asus P8Z77-V Premium Motherboard
EVGA GTX 690 Graphics Card
G.Skill Ripjaws X 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) 2133 DDR3 Memory
Corsair HX750 PSU
WD Caviar Black 750GB
Crucial M4 64 GB SSD
Corsair Obsidian 800D Case
Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit

Watercooling:
XSPC RX360 Extreme Radiator Rev. 2
XSPC Raystorm Intel CPU Waterblock
Swiftech MCP655-B Pump
FrozenQ Liquid Fusion V Series Reservoir - UV Blue

4 out of 5 eggsGreat color and Controls those Fans

Pros: This thing is beautiful
The LED colors are a breeze to change
Controls my fans like a boss.
Easy to install
Comes with cable extenders

Cons: If you pay close attention the sliders are not all the same height and some have a slight angle. I knew about from a review I read on a different site and I don't know if I would have noticed it otherwise.

Other Thoughts: I love this thing. One thing that surprised me is when the fans are off, so are the LEDs in the controller. On the one hand I like the LEDs because they add something to my case. On the other hand the only time I have the fans off is when I am going to bed. I'm not sure how I feel about that and thats pretty much the only reason it gets 4 stars. I highly recommend this product

5 out of 5 eggsNot bad at all.

Pros: Finish on the unit is good, all metal, levers are plastic and it does come off if you pull on them, but snuggly snap back in pretty securely. Looks great, color interchangability is fool proof. Looks nice on my Blue setup CM Haf-X

Cons: A little off track...somewhat. The lever have to be 1/3 way up for the fans to start functioning, tried this with multiple brand, type, size. 3X molex has been recommended to be all plugged for the unit to function properly, which kinda takes up some wiring for me. But over all, not bad.
