| Features | The FC5 V2 Black Fan Controller has a gorgeous large LCD display with 7 color choices. You can choose from Blue, Cyan, Green, Red, Yellow, Purple, or White to perfectly match it to your system lighting. Or simply choose a display color you like. The CNC milled brushed aluminum front bezel has a low key, minimalist look which is backed by quality parts within. A maximum of 30W or 2.5A of power is supplied to each of its 4 channels, which means you can control 4 powerful fans all at once. Audible alarm can be set up for when any one fan is not working properly when its supplied voltage is above 6.5VDC. The large LCD display lets you monitor key information like Alarm status and fan speed on the top row. Please note in order to monitor fan speed your cooling fans must have the speed sensor wire which is usually the third wire in addition to the positive and ground wire. This feature can be found on most cooling fans made for typical computer systems. For the bottom row on the LCD display, you can choose either voltage reading or temperature reading in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Temperature wire sensor probes are provided and you will need to attach them to locations of your choice inside a computer case for the temperature reading to work. Temperature alarm can be set up for when temperature is over 70°C. Once it is installed, you will have complete control over how quiet you want your system to be, or how much air cooling you want for your system. The FC5V2 fan controller can be installed in standard 5.25 inches drive bay found in most computer cases. The FC5V2 fan controller obtains +12VDC power from a common computer power supply through a Molex 4-pin header. You need to have +12VDC cooling fans with standard 3-pin fan connector to use with this fan controller. It is possible to connect 2 cooling fans to one channel by using a 3-pin cable splitter but you need to make sure the total power consumption for any one channel does not exceed 30W or 2.5A. |
