Pros: Attractive black brushed aluminum faceplate. The BitFenix and USB 3 logo on the faceplate is subtle and attractive. The unit has a quality look and feel to it.

Simple installation / worked out of the box without issue.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: (1) Installed on a Windows 7 Home Edition 64-bit system.

(2) Cable measures 21&1/4 inches from back of unit to end of cable/connector. Three mounting threads on each side of unit. Four mounting screws included.

(3) Two inches of faceplate between each USB port (ample room for two of the most obnoxiously wide USB sticks).

(4) Transfer speeds for each USB port comparable to system motherboard USB 3.0 port.

(5) Free shipping by Newegg arrived 2-days earlier than ETA.

(6) My first experience with BitFenix hardware is very positive and I will be looking to them for my future needs.

Pros: I bought this to provide the two front ports to accompany the two on-card ports for a USB3 card that I bought at the same time as this. Right now, both are working just fine.

Cons: No problems so far.

Other Thoughts: Works great, exactly what I needed since my case does not have USB 3.0 up front.

Pros: Plugged it in and it works fine. Haven't done any speed testing but appears to be ok.

Pros: Nice long USB 3.0 20-pin cable, easily long enough to reach either your motherboard connector or a PCI-Express x1 card in a slot. I have them configured both ways. I've found the Syba Renesas USB 3.0 card (N82E16815124120) works well both with Windows 7 Home Premium and Pro (with driver install from disk) but it also works "plug and play" with my openSUSE 12.3 Linux installs (no driver required). I couldn't be happier.

Cons: The only Con is that I had to use a 3.5" to 5.25" adapter frame in order to mount this in the cases I have that no longer have 3.5" floppy drive bays. I've ordered more of these adapter frames (or brackets) from Newegg to try and figure out which one I like the best. Newegg carries several, but it's hard to tell which will look best installed.

Other Thoughts: I did try other brands of USB 3.0 20-pin front panels carried by Newegg, But I found that this one is the best of all of them. A clearly better or best choice amongst them. The cable on this one is the longest and the visibility of the blue ports on the front is best on this one too. That's why I've already ordered more of these front panels from Newegg, along with USB cards and 3.5" to 5.25" brackets, so that I can upgrade the rest of my PC cases. I would strongly recommend these USB front panels to anyone as the best ones available from Newegg at this time (6-22-2014).
