3 out of 5 eggsGood product when it works.

Pros: A fan controller built for water cooling applications.
Controls are mostly intuitive

Cons: The frame can easy flex and cause a short on the display. When this happens the display only shows garbled information and is impossible to use; however, the controller continues to work.
The box included the wrong instructions, I had to get the correct instruction from the manufacturer's website.

Other Thoughts: I wish I could turn off unused channels and not have them listed on the main display.
Hopefully the next generation will offer the the option of PWM or voltage control.

4 out of 5 eggsBest Bang for the Buck

Pros: Easy to read LED. Temp/Fan curves are accurate as programmed. Running 10 fans and two pumps split between 6 channels, works great! Plenty of nice long power cord extensions included. Adjustable LED brightness is very nice. Visual Temp, Power and Fan speed for each channel. Great buy!

Cons: Dose not include any fan splitter`s in the box, should include at least 3.

Other Thoughts: The ability to change the LED color would be nice, red, green or even white. Just a thought.

1 out of 5 eggsDead on Arrival

Pros: Looks cool
High power ratings

Cons: Dead on Arrival
Looked to be a repackaged unit (no wrapping on the box, calendar missing)
When plugged in to my powersupply immediately caused the entire system to short when powered up.

Other Thoughts: I bought this unit on the recommendations of the community saying lamptron has quality products that work well and last a long time. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience with this unit. When the unit arrived, the box was damaged and the unit itself had capacitors bent around. I plugged it into my system following the simple instructions (connect to a molex extender, connect your fans, you're done) and the unit started smoking immediately on powerup. The backlight would light, but nothing will display on screen. The unit started smoking and shorted out the system. None of the fans received power.

Attempting to contact customer support has been a nightmare. There are no numbers to call, the only way to get in contact is to submit a ticket on their website. I have submitted 2 tickets so far and heard nothing back from Lamptron about this issue. Unfortunately, I waited too long to build my system so I can no longer return to Newegg, and I'll have to keep submitting tickets until I am deemed worthy of a response.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quality construction
Easy to use
Fairly easy install
6 36 watt channels

Cons: Cables are a bit too short for some fans in my case (Phanteks Enthoo Primo), not a major problem am using fan splitters anyhow.

Other Thoughts: This thing is great, running 2 120mm fans, 6 140mm fans and a water pump.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Controller

Pros: - Six Channels with Six Temperature Sensors
- Clear Display with Adjustable Backlight
- Easy Interface
- Solid Build Quality

Cons: - Default Settings (more in other thoughts)
- Molex Power Extender is a little short

Other Thoughts: This is a good fan controller that has amazingly solid construction. It has 6 channels that can power just about anything, with 6 temperature sensors associated with each channel. The display is clear and easy to read, with an adjustable backlight (you can even turn the screen off) and options to display temps in Fahrenheit or Celsius. The interface is easy to use once you read the instructions on how to set everything; here's the basics: In Manual control mode, you choose how much voltage that fan gets or what RPM you want it to spin at. In Automatic mode, you set a minimum and maximum speed and a target temperature for the temperature sensor associated with the channel and it automatically adjusts to try and get near the target.
My biggest complaint about this device is the default settings. It defaults out of the box with every channel in manual mode. No problem right? Wrong. Manual mode defaults at zero power. So when I plugged my entire computer into this thing and hit the power button, the CPU started, but the pump and the fans did not. It only took me about 30 seconds to get the fans and pump running, but having nothing running with just a waterblock to keep your CPU from melting for 30 seconds is a little much. I would suggest at least running the pump straight from the power supply until you get your settings dialed in. Or starting the power supply and nothing else.

Overall, this is a great product that I would definitely recommend. I have no questions or concerns about quality or longevity, which means I can have peace of mind leaving my computer running with this controller in charge of all the cooling.
