Do you know how hot it is inside your computer? Any idea how fast the fans are turning? Want to set an alarm so your computer can't overheat without you knowing about it? Would you like to have the fans make less noise unless they really need to rev it up?

If your fans use the three-pin connectors to control and monitor their speed, Xion has a solution for you. This four-color LCD monitor panel tells you the internal temperature, how fast the fans are rotating, and allows you to control their speed manually or automatically. A programmable RPM alarm setting lets you know if your fans are turning too slow. (Ever had a fan die and not know it for awhile? I have.)

Even if you have to buy three-pin fans to replace the old ones, this could really be worth your while. You decide what your needs are, but I think I want one.

Nice and Simple

Pros: Easy to hook up. Nice looking. Comes with cable extensions for fans. Temperature probes are on long cables. Easy installation in my Cosmos case. It works nicely and it looks good.

Minus 1 Egg for annoying alarm.

Cons: Will not shut fans off, but it spins them slow enough to quiet them down. Instructions for installation are ok at best. Instructions for setting fan/temp alarm is absent. You'll either figure it out yourself or put up with beeping and a caution sign when fans run below specified rpm. Range from 2000-500rpm.....After setting to 500rpm and Temp to 50C- Alarm has been silent. It would be better if the Alarm was removed or could be shut off easier.

Other Thoughts: If I didn't mind taking the front door off of my rig, I would have got the rheostat type (with the knobs). Since I didn't want to do that I went with this digital, smooth faced one. Door closes perfectly.

Pros: Flat panel

Cons: bad cable/touchy.. constant fan stop for no reason
you can only read this HEAD on up close

Other Thoughts: I got what i paid for.. had low expectations which were met

does add a special touch to my xbox 360 in a pc case mod

Pros: ok i hooked it up and it does what it says

Cons: annoying alarm and only 1 rosewill fan of 3 actually responds to it i plug any others in and bam dies

Other Thoughts: after 2 months my set button broke i mean it works so so but it wont pop back out

Pros: controls fan speeds based on the temp probs.

Cons: don't expect it to last very long, had it for a year and failed, turned off my computer one day, it worked, next day it didn't.

Pros: It tells you HDD Activity? and Fan Speeds?

Cons: The Temp is completely wrong, I gave it to a friend who wanted to Mod it.

Other Thoughts: Don't waste your Time/Money on this.
