4 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: Works as advertised, all the knobs and connectors in the back work fine. It looks pretty sweet in my case. And the install was rather easy despite not having great instructions from the manual

Cons: Only minor thing is that I wish the knobs were a little sturdier. They are not flimsy, and feel solid when turning them, but they do wobble slightly if you push them up or down. And they could be a tiny bit shorter.

Other Thoughts: As long as it continues to work well, this product is worth the money. Also, good idea to think about where you want to put your temperature sensors before you start the install, and to record what temp sensor is where

5 out of 5 eggsPractically very good

Pros: It's supplied with standard 3-pin fan connectors only. It works like a charm and looks and feels quality built. Installation is not that hard in CM HAF-X.

Cons: The controller doesn't have any sort of shortcomings. But I wish all the knobs should be featured as first push-in all the way to hide the knobs, and second push-in to release the knobs to come out for fan speed adjustments. Right now those knobs stay protruding too much out.

Other Thoughts: I have the AeroCool V12XT Controller. It looks a lot nicer than this controller. But when it comes to performance this Scythe controller is a kicking hard and has twice the power.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome fan controller

Pros: I installed this in a Cooler Master HAF 932 full tower and have been quite impressed. I have it running a variety of fans of a variety of sizes from 120mm to 230mm. It runs them all fine for me including displaying fan RPMs. It also comes with some small thermocouples that can be placed in various locations around the case to display temperatures of various components. For example I have some placed on my CPU's water block, memory, hard drives, and video card so have a good idea of the temperature of all my major components. I really like the feature set on this fan controller and it looks sharp in the front panel of my case.

Cons: None I have seen in my installation.

2 out of 5 eggsnot good

Pros: sturdy casing

Cons: this fan controller does not support 1 pin fan sensor wiring. don't use this fan controller with the Delta120x38mm, 240cfm fans. model AFB1212GHE-CF00

Other Thoughts: still looking for a fan controller that supports the delta fans with 1 pin sensor wiring

4 out of 5 eggsGood fan controller with one minor flaw

Pros: Provides real time RPM and fairly accurate temperature readings. Temp probes actually seem to stay in place, even when using the included tape. Has a nice look to it in my Lian Li PC-A70F case, and even the ability to turn individual fans off if I desire. Extension wires were included, but I opted for nice black sleeved 3 pin extensions instead.
Using with 6 fans, one on each channel, temps are excellent, the machine is nearly silent, and if anything changes, this device will let me know.

Cons: Occasionally I've had trouble with 3-pin connectors or the floppy power connector coming loose from the back of the unit. Because it's in the lowest drive bay, and shorter than optical drives, the area the cables plug into is difficult to access, making this an annoyance that is easiest solved by lightly jiggling the cable.

Other Thoughts: It's still a great unit overall, the fans are controlled as I desire, and most complaints I've read regarding previous versions of this unit didn't apply here. If a newer model were developed, though, I would suggest the use of a molex or sata power connector rather than a floppy. Perhaps there is also some type of clip that could be developed for future revisions that would help keep the fan connectors more secure.

5 out of 5 eggslove it

Pros: very nice display.. it does every thing it says it will.. doesn't heat up like some other units.. stays cool after hours of use.. love it and would buy it again and highly recommend..

Cons: well a con in tool less drive bays... i have the Antec 302 and can only mount the fan control on the bottom bay because the unit is small and has to screw in and the 302 only lets you fully screw on the bottom bay.. not really a big con so no eggs deducted and more of my case flaw then the unit.. o yea one temp prob was out.. ive been lazy and havent replaced it yet but they give you two extra..

Other Thoughts: a little more then some but its worth it all to me..

5 out of 5 eggsAwsome Fan control

Pros: Looks amazing with my corsair 800D case
Can control 6 fans and can actually turn the fans off which is a big plus.
Came with tons of handy pieces like extensions for the fan cables, since a lot of my fan power cables were to short to reach i used a lot of them.

Cons: More personal preference then Con but i didnt use very many of the temp sensors, i put one by my hard drive and one by my power supply.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far it's awesome

Pros: The quality seems very well built. The front of the panel is really nice. The brush metal goes really nice with my Carbide 500r. The display is bright but not to bright to be annoying.

Cons: I needed to remove the plastic auto snap thing that you normally use to insert a CD/Blu ray drive because the controller itself is short and it was wobbling so I removed that and just put the screws in the controller for a sturdy fit. The case I have is a Corsair Carbide 500r.

Other Thoughts: I kinda wish the knobs were a bit shorter. The knobs look a little odd sticking out as far as they do but the controller makes up for that with functionality
