Add some color and quiet cooling to your desktop PC with the Apevia CF4SL-UGN 80mm green LED case fan. Spinning at a low 22.05dBA at 2,000rpm, the fan can be used to pull cool air into your system or push hot air out. The fan is also made from UV-reactive plastic to add even more brilliance to your PC. Simply install the fan, connect it to your power supply's standard 4-pin connector and it's ready to go.

  • newegg High Performance Operating at 2000 RPM, the APEVIA CF4SL-UGN delivers an air flow of up to 25.64 CFM for impressive levels of heat dissipation.
  • newegg 4 Green Fan LEDs Four green LEDs provide brilliant illumination while the fan is in operation for eye-catching fun.

4 out of 5 eggsA decent fan

Pros: Green LEDs.
Pushes Some Air.
Molex powered.
Low wattage because of size.
Cheap price (sort of)

Cons: Pushes enough air for a multi fan case, but do not rely on this fan alone.
For a couple bucks more, you can grab a non lit up 80mm fan that pushes more air.

Other Thoughts: I am happy with this purchase because it is 1 of 6 fans in my case and it keeps the green theme alive.
If I was replacing an 80mm in a U server case or an ITX Build, I would definitely go with something much stronger.

3 out of 5 eggsNo screws?

Pros: Green, as advertised.

Cons: My fan didn't come with any screws. If I hadn't been replacing an existing fan I would have been unable to install the new fan.

Other Thoughts: I am not sure if I just missed the part where it mentions not having screws, or if they were lost somewhere along the line during shipping, either way I'm just glad I had the screws already from an old fan.

Manufacturer Response:

All of our fans should come with a set of four fan screws. We do apologize about the missing screws and if you would like us to send you a set, you can contact us at (909) 718-0789 or via e-mail at service@apevia.com We try to respond to all calls and e-mails as soon as we can.

3 out of 5 eggsPretty, but not much airflow

Pros: Very quiet, nice bright color, all LEDs work great and have even lighting, price is low. Seems of decent quality for the money.

Cons: Moves very little air. Wish it had three-pin motherboard connectors.

Other Thoughts: I have worked with a lot of fans, and this one is the quietest 80mm unit I've seen so far. Having said that, it moves so little air that I'm positive it can't be running at the advertised 2000 rpm. I'd check it against speed monitoring software, but can't since it offers only the four-pin molex connection. I'm actually wondering if a run of these got made with the motors for the 120mm size. Slowest-moving 80mm fan I've ever seen.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for 80mm fans

Pros: If you are looking for bright LED fans for your case these can probably do the trick. Especially for those smaller cases. Quiet and OK airflow for the fan size.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The airflow is limited to what 80mm can do while remaining quiet. If you have room for them, you may be better served by 120mm or 140mm fans as you're likely to get better performance out of those in terms of cooling.

5 out of 5 eggs6 years later 1 of 4 died.

Pros: Great fan, its green and its what i wanted back in 2008. one fan died on me though completely seized up. a few months ago. the other one still spins freely and moves good amounts of air

Cons: 6 year minimum use? if thats a con thats stretching it though because 6 years is pretty darn good for anything to last. and remember my 2nd one is still spinning like new.

Other Thoughts: 5 stars. got my use out of them. they were cheap and did exactly what i needed them to do! would buy again (but not green ones haha)

4 out of 5 eggsUpdated Review

Pros: Amazing airflow for an 80mm fan. Cools my AMD 970 northbridge well and the green L.E.D is bright and vibrant.

Cons: LOUD. It can be heard across the room, over my gaming rig which has 8x120mm case fans, 4x120mm GPU fans and 2x 140mm CPU fans.

Other Thoughts: Will be replacing in the future with a quieter, fluid bearing fan. This fan will be good in my server room where I cant hear it!

5 out of 5 eggsApevia, Great As Always!

Pros: Pretty bright light, the quietest 80mm I have ever owned, moves MUCH more air than the Raidmax I removed and does not sound like a jet plane taking off :)

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have a total of probably 30 Apevia brand 120mm and 140mm fans throughout my rigs and have always been quite happy with their products. If you're going for a case fan, Apevia or Rosewill are all I would consider!

5 out of 5 eggsNo issues in 6+ years

Pros: As another reviewer said recently, after more than 6 years I haven't had any issues with fan noise or LEDs burning out. Perfectly adequate performance for a cheap case fan.
At the time I built my machine, one of the only choices for green LEDs.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This fan is still running as an exhaust fan in the back of a Rosewill FB-01 case, doing a good enough job keeping a very minimal build cool.
