Sunbeam=FIRE
- Pros: 4 Controller knobs
Switches on the 10K ohm Pot's brushed aluminum knobs
- Cons: LED's are Too bright
VERY POOR soldering Poor construction Will set your computer on FIRE (and I mean smoke and a very bright orange glow coming from your computer, almost as bright as the LED's)
- Other Thoughts: I got this controller back in May and in July it failed, catching on fire inside my case. I showed it to my friend who's an electrical engineer and he said it was one of the worst designs he has ever seen and the workmanship on this controller was absolutely substandard.
A-
- Pros: Very inexpensive, handles 8 different fans attached to it, has heat sinks. Switches also turn completely off!
- Cons: -1 egg for ridiculously bright LED's. Also, they do not 'fade' as stated, they turn from red to blue.
- Other Thoughts: These LED's are brighter than the sun, wear eye protection!
Good Product
- Pros: Contrary to some reviewers, I like the bright front lights. I didnt have any problem with it fitting in the case.
- Cons: Only 1 hole on each side matched up with the mount (instead of 2 holes like other items and is normally done). But that is ok, since it doesnt really vibrate or anything.
- Other Thoughts: I was hoping that my fans could be 'juiced up' with this to make them go faster, but they dont. I really didnt know until now that a max fan speed is determined by the fan, not the controller. I guess I would have to buy faster fans.
