4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I've owned a couple of these fans for a couple years now without a single failure. They don't move a ton of air but they are very quiet I take my machine out to the deck and spray it out every few months. These are some of the quietest fans I've owned and are great for creating airflow in your case.

Cons: They don't provide more than a gentle breeze. You'll want something with a variable speed for your components.

Other Thoughts: I've found tweaking variable speed fan curves with motherboard and graphics utilities is the best way to keep a system quiet while still providing proper cooling under load.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far, quiet as a mouse.

Pros: Super quiet! I replaced the rear exaust fan that came with my Antec 300 case, which was noisy, even when set low, and needed hi switch setting to keep my rig under 35c at idle. Added this fan just to see if it would move enough air, but mostly wanted silent operation. Suprised that I now run under 30c!

Cons: Low RPM. My bios records it at 885RPM max. However, it aparently moves more air then the standard Antec fan it replaced in my 300 case.

Other Thoughts: Can't say about life yet, as it's only been running for 24hrs, but so far, it's dead silent. In a week or 2 I'll be ordering more. I'll have to see if they make a 140 for my top exaust. Great fan! Wish I had tried it before dropping 2x as much into my Logisys SF120, since it's actually more quiet then it, at 1/2 the cost.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet

Pros: Essentially inaudible
Was perfect for my application and there was no audible "oddities" as it was under-volted

Cons: Peculiar starting voltages - Like in a review done by SilentPCReview, I found that ramping voltage slowly resulted in it not spinning. However running it at 12V and ramping it down worked fine.

Low CFM and static pressure, but considering the 1000 RPM rating this is hardly surprising

Other Thoughts: Perfect for a heatsink with wide fin spacing.
The listed cons are inconsequential really.
The fan was purchased specifically because of the low RPM to maintain a minimum amount of airflow without adding to system noise levels.
The operating voltage turned out to be a moot point as well. In my application, the base noise floor of the PC it was installed on was high enough that the fan never became audible even at 12V.

5 out of 5 eggsSuper long-lasting fan

Pros: I've had like 5 of these fans for years, running 24/7 and they're still quiet and working great.

Cons: No LEDs... Fans are suppose to be detachable, but I wasn't able to do that easily. Best to just replace them in 3-4 years or whatever if you don't want dust...

5 out of 5 eggsThese are great

Pros: 1. Magnetic
2. Quiet
3. Cost

Cons: 1. Low CFM
2. Not available in 140mm size

Other Thoughts: I found out about these fans from a supplier online, I was completely shocked to be honest. The idea of using a magnetic field to create rotation should've been easy for other companies to think of, but apparently only these guys did. I'm really confused here because why would anyone use ball or sleeve bearings over this? Needless to say I buy nothing else now because why should I, they have bearings and fail. I can say these are a brilliant idea and NEVER disappoint, just as someone said earlier plug the molex adapter in not the 3pin so your mobo doesn't dial down the voltage/rpm. Seriously get these, forget the other junk it's not any good.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT!

Pros: Very quiet, and have lasted 4 years so far and still going! moves enough air, UNDER THE RIGHT CIRCUMSTANCES!

---->read other thoughts<----

Cons: If your case is tight, don't use these. If you can only use 1 or 2 fans, then don't use these.

Other Thoughts: Alrighty, time to talk cooling. These are some of the best fans I have ever used, when used properly. I have 7 of them in a case, and it's ice cold and whisper quiet. the reason I say under the right circumstances is that the lower cfm a fan is, the more of them you need. My combined 7 fans (not including psu fan) probably REALISTICALLY moves a couple hundred cfm, but at almost no sound, so the theory is more quiet fans will do the work of a fewer loud fans. If your case can support alot of these, AND you have designed your cooling solution to compliment air flow (cpu cooler aiding correct direction), you can't go wrong.

1 out of 5 eggsQuiet For a Reason

Pros: It truly is a silent fan, at full speed in almost any configuration, it will be absolutely silent. There is good reason for that too, see cons.

Cons: Enermax made one mistake on the CFM rating, with the decimal point. It should be 4.4 CFM. At full speed the amount of air this so called "fan" moves is next to none. I've seen 50mm fans that move more air than this one does, literally.
For testing fans, I use a wall wart PS device that has four pin molex connectors and supplies 12V. Using molex to three pin adapters or fan speed controllers, I test fans is free air. I was shocked when I tried this fan, I thought I had it pointing the wrong direction, since I couldn't detect any air flow. Without a doubt, the lowest amount of air movement of any 120mm fan I've tried. Incredibly small, less at full speed than most 120mm fans at their start up speed. I cannot stress enough the minute amount of air flow this fan produces.

Other Thoughts: I've read that some defective samples of this fan have reached the market, and maybe I have one. I never mounted it to check its speed, since it would not have cooled anything given its air flow, or lack of it. If my sample of this fan is normal, then I would rate it as useless for cooling anything in a PC, sorry to say.

3 out of 5 eggsNot for my system

Pros: Nice clean look. Very quiet.

Cons: I positioned these fans near some metal brackets and on a water cooled heat sink with a metal radiator. All I can figure is the metal is interfering with the magnetic drive system. One fan doesn't spin unless I give it a nudge and the other only moves at about 300rpm.

Other Thoughts: They are probably nice fans as long as they aren't mounted over metal.
