5 out of 5 eggsawesome!

Pros: I can't hear this thing at all!

Cons: I can't hear this thing at all! I open the case every once in a while to make sure it's still running.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fan

Pros: Blows more air than other 120mm fans. It is actually a 130mm fan, but can fit in a 120mm spot. Works best at about 9-10 volts.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I'm CompTIA A+ trained and certified.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat's the fuss?!

Pros: Quiet. Decent airflow. Cheap. Great for radiators. What more could you ask for?

Cons: Doesn't light up...? Check your case for clearance issues before buying. This is an "over-sized" fan and won't mount side-by-side. (My case was fine.)

Other Thoughts: Everyone's posting that this fan is one way but that's not true (and it doesn't require any wiring mods). Just turn it around and use full-length fan screws!

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks cool on a radiator. very quiet.

Cons: Very low air flow.

Other Thoughts: Used for water cooling for my 2 dual core opteron server. Mounted on a old 1978 Chevy suburban heater core. lol. air flow was moderate. made my radiator look good and quiet. Went with some louder but more powerful Zalman in the back to assist. With a fan controller off course

5 out of 5 eggsNot likely to "Not Really"

Pros: This is in response to "Not Really" about swapping pins.. I do not own this. You can't swap pins on case fans...

Its a inexpensive fan, if it doesn't blow the way you want, buy a different one..

Cons: basically not able to make it blow into the case easily...

People posting misinformation. If you change the pins, you risk damaging the fan, your PSU, and/or motherboard in the process.. if you want a fan to blow in, don't buy this one..

Other Thoughts: Case fans are not brushed DC motors. You generally can not reverse polarity and have them spin the other way. They are stepper motors that have a small circuit that "steps" coils between energized and not with a ring magnet around them, causing the magnet in the fan blades to move around the coils.

Even if it did spin the other direction, the fins are cupped in a way to make them blow better and quieter in the direction it is meant to run.

5 out of 5 eggsNot really..

Pros: If you had a molex pin tool, you could switch the yellow and the black wires on the molex plug and then the fan would spin the other way.

Cons: None

2 out of 5 eggsVery Quit

Pros: VERY QUIET. Looks sharp too.

Cons: You can only mount it one way - the wrong way. The plastic is molded so you can install it only one way. So, if you mount it INSIDE your case, it will blow air outside.
If you want to blow inside the case, you'll have to do some modifications.

Other Thoughts: Would I buy this product again? Only if the reversed the way the air blows. Another disappointer from ThermalTake...

5 out of 5 eggsGood Fan!

Pros: Very Good Fan! Quiet and big air flow.

Cons: Too big to fit in Cooler Master Mystiques. I have to modify it a little bit. Also, it can't be installed for importing air.

Other Thoughts: May be a small switch to change airflow direction will be very good!

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Pros: Very quiet for the amount of air it moves and also very cheap. I used this fan to mount on the outside cover of a cheap case that didn't have good air flow. CPU temp went down from 50C to 29C at idle and never goes over 41C under prime 95. Chipset temp was also lowered by 12C. Comes with adapter for molex power.

Cons: Not much of a shroud around it, so be careful with wire routing if you use it inside the case. Could also be a problem mounted the way I used this fan if you have alot of junk piled up next to your computer. Not really a con, but make sure that you realize that the mounting for this fan makes it directional and that it will suit the plans you have for it.

Other Thoughts: I'm a tinkerer by nature and made a plexi-glass side panel for this cheapo case for about 5 bucks. Stuck the panel to the side of the case with velcro tabs at each corner. The reason for this was that the cheapo case didn't have any provisions for a fan. So I cut the hole for this fan where I thought the system needed the air the most and it's been like a miracle. Yet again, Thermaltake makes another great product.
