Pros: I built a new computer using Inwin slimline case which is nice. It has a spot for an 80 mm fan that I use as an exhaust and since I am only using PCI-E slot I opened up other covers in case an mounted a 70 mm fan to blow cool air across video card and MB. I tried a few different fans before I got the right balance of airflow and sound level. Now with both case fans running along with ZOTAC GT640 and CPU cooler the computer isn't that loud, so I did what another reviewer did. I spliced into yellow wire (sometimes blue) of my 2 case fans and CPU fan and just hooked up that wire. I put temp probes on CPU(copper heatpipe) , VIDEO and HARD DRIVE. It's not quite as accurate as CORE TEMP(download, it's great) but it's close enough that at a quick glance you can see what temp computer is at and if fans are running plus it does look pretty cool.

Cons: none for how I am using it.Wire management was an issue but that's my own fault for using a slim case . it just took a little time and zipties to organize

Other Thoughts: I hope this review helped because as a fan controller it has limited control but if you have quiet fans it works great as a system monitor and you don't have deal with beeping or fans not coming on. there are some nice quiet fans out there but they are a little more money ( ENERMAX FANS )

5 out of 5 eggsSuperb!!!

Pros: There's no better way to express the performance of these memory modules, running in my i7 3970X system, make a really pleasant display of performance.. I highly recommend these HyperX Beast, you will definitely love your rig!!

Cons: Umm.. Con's... I mean seriously, I couldn't find any, the price is perfect.. I wouldn't argue with Kingston.!! :-)

Other Thoughts: My system configuration just for kicks: Zalman GS1200 chassis, Antec HCP-850W PSU, Asus Rampage IV Extreme, Intel i7 3970X Extreme, EVGA GeForce GTX 690, Western Digital 1Tb x 2 + 600GB VelociRaptor, Creative Labs SoundBlaster Recon3D Fide1ity Champion, Plextor PX-B950SA BluRay drive.. my flight simulator X-Plane 9/10, FPS went from 19-25 to 79-92, what a significant jump, I am so loving my system!!

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what it's supposed to

Pros: I have this plugged into my 120mm fans, the LCD screen looks awesome and has a sound sensor so I know when my music is too loud.

Cons: I'm not sure if it's the temperature readers but it seems all of them are almost always the same.

Other Thoughts: Doesn't save settings for Fahrenheit

4 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Simple to the point interface, accurate temps. The noise meter is pretty neat. Alarm for high temps. Very long wires and temp prob wires. Easy to manage with a larger case. Fit perfectly in my case and looks really nice! I like that it can display Celsius as well as Fahrenheit.

Cons: It stopped saving my presets so I need to re-calibrate the alarm temps every time I shut down the PC, rather annoying -1 egg for this.

5 out of 5 eggsJust what I needed

Pros: Automatic fan control with 3 fan ports, plugs in to the power supply with a 4 pin connector, so I don't have to worry about burning out my motherboard.
Quiet fan operation that adjusts to temperature better than I would, means I don't have to adjust manually for games, and don't have to run the fans at noisy full speed plugged directly in to the power supply.

Cons: The size is a little iffy, it doesn't fill the slot, so it would look funny sticking out the front of my computer with empty space around it.
In the end I left the port covering on the PC case and mounted it internally with a single screw. I left the settings on full automatic since this is an auxiliary fan control to keep the motherboard from burning out by plugging in 6 fans.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Case Auto Thermostat

Pros: Simple and easy to install. Clear front panel detail, with a fun extra (noise meter). Perfect fan controller for the lazy person who does not want to manually adjust fans. This is the unit that every case should come standard with. I paired this with two Scythe SY1225SL12SH wind tunnel fans. They run whisper quiet until I start gaming with my GTX 480. Fan power/temperature cables are long.

Cons: Lack of installation instructions; requires basic knowledge of how to open computer cases, and install 3.5" drives.

Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY THIS if you want to manually manage your fans. This is the Apple version of a PC fan controller unit (it knows best for you).

5 out of 5 eggsNo problems here

Pros: Shows 3 accurate temperatures and 3 fan speeds at once. Alarms at temperature values you set. Can do temperatures in C or F. It has a little microphone to monitor noise levels too so if you yell at it the lights jump.

Cons: None to speak of, I haven't had any problems with it. The wires for one of the temperature probes was too short but that's because it needed to go clear to the opposite corner of my ginormous case.

Other Thoughts: If you don't need anything super fancy and just need a readout so you can adjust the fans manually, this is just what you're looking for.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh. For $20 I guess it's ok

Pros: Cheap, kinda cool looking

Cons: Probes aren't very accurate.

Other Thoughts: I realize that these kind of thermocouples arent exactly super calibrated temp probes, but these are consistantly 10C (or more), off. And I have them right on the CPU, and the northbridge and both are way off. Perhaps I have a bad unit, which is a possibility as there are several other good reviews.

4 out of 5 eggsI like it

Pros: Does exactly what I wanted it to do:

- Physically monitors my CPU, GPU, & RAM (case probe) temps so I don't have to.

- Warns me if any temp. goes aboave my selection or of a fan's death.

- Automatically adjusts fan speeds perportionally as temperatures rise.

- Is easy to hook up, Mod, and install.
- Looks great.
- Has a sound sensor that displays internal noise (Not a db readout, just a multi colored bar). Tap on your case and you will see what I'm talking about.
- Can easily seed LCD from angles aboave eye-level.
- Price

Cons: - Can't read the LCD below direct eye level. Unfortunate for me as it is placed aboave eye level in my room when I lie down to watch tv.

- Does not allow for manual fan control. This as an option might have been nice, but I don't need it for my purposes.

- Could Have been designed not to block a 3.5" bay allowing a HDD to fit as well. It can be moded though.

Other Thoughts: I really like the alure this adds to my case. It's very useful as a backup temp. monitor. I ues it to see the temp. of my x4 Unlocked Phenom II x2 550 which looses the ability to self monitor temp. if aditional cores are unlocked. My motherboard's CPU Temp. readind was uselessly off as well.

Hook this up to silent fans and you won't care that you don't have controll of fan speed.

If your computer has a dedicated FDD slot, toss the FDD (They are almost useless today anyway) and put this in it's place.

2 out of 5 eggsLCD display has dead pixels

Pros: One of the few fan/temp monitors that will fit in a 3.5" bay
Colourful and bright. Looks great!
Simulated spinning fan LCD looks cool.
Sound Detection display works great and is very cool!

Cons: Unfortunately my product came with dead pixels on every numerical display. You can't read any of the RPMs or temps properly.
The manual is not very informative

Other Thoughts: The display is best displayed from the top as opposed to the sides or bottom. This is great if you have your PC on the floor and am looking at it from above.
The sound detector is very sensitive. It even reacts when my chair creaks. Very cool!
I am using a Zalman ZM-FMC1 fan controler to control the speed of my fans. I got some single pin fan plugs so that I can splice the third PWM wire of my fans and plug them it into the Easywatch so that I can control my fans with my Zalman, and monitor the RPM speeds with my Easywatch.

It's just too bad that my Easywatch came with bad pixels. I will have to RMA it and hope Newegg can send me a working one.
