1 out of 5 eggsNo Unlock

Pros: Looks Pretty

Cons: Powered on, but could not unlock the main screen.
Was locked so i could not control the fan that were connected to it.

Other Thoughts: get something else

1 out of 5 eggsComplete Junk

Pros: Worked and looked great when 1st installed

Cons: Backlight faded to black in 6 months making the unit completely useless. A real ripoff at just under $50. Replaced it with an NZXT sentry which has the same functions plus a power switch for the backlight for almost half the price of this one

2 out of 5 eggsWorks fine, but the colors fade

Pros: Controls and monitors the fans well.

Cons: When I first got this on my new computer, the display was very bright, almost annoyingly so. My computer runs 24/7, and after only a few weeks the display was noticeably dimmer, and it has continued to fade. Now, at 10 months out, the display is so dim that it can barely be seen in our normal room light, which isn't very bright.

Other Thoughts: Hard to recommend.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Display, Works Perfect

Pros: Works Great! 4-Fan Controller, 4-Temp Censor.. Temp Alarm that will auto boost the Fans RPM up when gaming (Can be turned off)

Cons: It wont mount on my Antec 302 case that has a tool less design drive bay.. But I figured to tape it on my Cd Drive and worked ok..

Other Thoughts: Good basic Fan Controller with good features and nice LCD and UI

1 out of 5 eggsNice features, poor illumination

Pros: Attractive controller panel, settings easily modified, sufficiently bright out of the box, does what its supposed to do.

Cons: The LED brightness cannot be adjusted, and the control panel becomes unreadable within a few months as the LED backlight progressively dims. Even if you don't intend to use the device for temperature monitoring, you must attach the 4 temp leads or the alarms never cease.

Other Thoughts: This would be an ideal fan controller but for the LED backlight issue and the compulsory temp sensor connections. After 6 months of use, one cannot read the panel by ambient light because the backlight illumination is too dim.

2 out of 5 eggsNice idea, poorly executed

Pros: Looks cool; Fits neatly in a single drive bay; Construction appears solid -- no cheap plastic parts here; Works as a fan controller, so long as your fans use a 3-pin plug and not a 4-pin.

Cons: Doesn't remember fan settings between reboots; setting speeds for four individual chassis fans at 100 RPMs per button push gets tedious quickly; external thermometer leads don't give useful readings -- when my 580 GTX went from 45C to 80C, the controller read anywhere from 30C to 36C. Same for the Phenom II 980: ~32C when the core temp ranged from 50C to 70C, and the lead was even in direct contact with the heat sink. The fan controller displays the speed in RPMs, but percentages would really be more useful, since you can only spin them down to about 40%. For some reason it wouldn't spin my 200mm fans above about 80% (700 RPM to their max 900 RPM).

Other Thoughts: I ended up taking it out because the Corsair 600T case it was mounted in has a built-in dial type fan controller. The temperature alarm function would have been useful if I could get a good reading on anything. Instead I just ran a hardware monitor program that does the same thing with the accurate core temperature readings. Because of the clunky interface, I would recommend an analog fan controller over this one, especially since the temperature monitor is completely useless.

1 out of 5 eggsUseless for most large case fans

Pros: fits in one 5" bay

Cons: Most case fans preinstalled by Antec and even most aftermarket 120mm or larger fans are two-wire variety with 4-pin molex connectors. You can't connect these fans to the unit without buying an adaptor, and even if you do, you can't read their RPM or control fan speed. Also it makes no sense to use a thermistor taped CLOSE to the CPU on the heatsink to monitor your CPU temp -- any motherboard monitor program is much more accurate. Using this unit on the CPU fan prevents you from using Cool'n Quiet or any auto fan control software.

Other Thoughts: I found this unit useless

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Small and easy to use !!

Cons: Wish there was a better way to mount to the cpu to get a better reading .

I have the cpu temp probe on the mb right beside it and it seems to say with in 3-5deg diff from the bios temp reading on my MSI 890FX-GD70

Other Thoughts: Yes it does kinda sound like a microwave :o

4 out of 5 eggsnice touch screen fan controller

Pros: 4 fan controller and 4 temperature sensors. plus a few extra sensors are included you need to replace a few while you own it. looks real clean cut and only takes up ONE bay. and is easy to understand as long as you have used one before or read the manual... def not a major science. can set up temp alarms for each sensor. can also change to F instead of C if you want but lets face it C is easier to understand for pc temps XD i still see to many people talking about F.

Cons: only took 1 egg off for this but the 5.25 brackets aren't secure enough on the motherboard panel side. if you use the touch screen on the right side it will push in a slight bit on that side. not super noticeable so im ok with it at the moment.. but will be mod fixing it at a later date

Other Thoughts: caution.. touch screen can be a bit fickle sometimes use fingertips not your whole finger or you can fight to push the correct button. but what can you expect with all the touch buttons jammed into a single bay slot. i only actually had this problem with the C/F button and the button for current temp/alarm settings when i was playing with the controller

Pros: Looks good.

Cons: Only controls fans down to about 40%. I have two units, one seems to remember the fan settings the other one doesn't.
