Silverstone SST-FF122 120mm Fan Filter with Magnet (Black)

Pros: Traps dust without introducing annoying fan noises.

Cons: Magnets are a little weak.

Other Thoughts: Like any obstruction, this will decrease CFM of your fans. If you add this to your case, be aware of that. It does what it's supposed to do though.

Pros: It keeps the dust out and has magnets.

Cons: It doesn't completely cover the opening around the edges, but not sure if that is due to design of filter or my case. And the magnets could be a little stronger.

Other Thoughts: But if you need something to keep the dust out this will do the job.

Pros: + Easy to clean
+ Magnets!

Cons: - Restricts airflow (no way around this really)

Other Thoughts: The magnet placement is perfect for intake fans and putting it on the exterior of the case. They make it easy to take off and clean.

Pros: Does it's job and is 8 dollars

Cons: I have the phantom 410 case and the front intakes stick out a little so the magnets would not work, nor would the screws as the screws were not long enough, so I managed to but the filters behind the fan so I assume it still works. Not Silverstone's fault and don't take this as a con just a not for NZXT.

Pros: perfect fit on the bottom air vent in the pc case

Pros: It actually collect dust. There is another nice feature that this filter has are the magnet which u can put it on case and forget it. which i put on back of my intake for push and pull config of my H80i set up.

Pros: Works well for a dust filter. Easy removal and easy to clean

Cons: None that I have found. I suppose if you move your pc around a lot these could fall off or slide over but that is not their fault!

Other Thoughts: A good investment. It can be used in future applications.

Cons: Not a con but an observation for the uninitiated. This filter will reduce airflow when used on low RPM, low noise, fans so plan for that when you buy this.

Other Thoughts: I bought this fan to filter the Power Supply intake on the bottom of a Zalman Z9 Plus case. The case has the slots for a 120mm fan filter/mesh and the mesh is included on the Z11 Plus but, for some strange reason, Zalman elected to not include either with the Z9/Z9 Plus.

Enter this filter.

The filter is not as wide as the mesh but it doesn't need to be. The magnets hold it in place just inside the space where the mesh would be and the filter covers all the slots that allow cool air to be pulled into the PSU.

Pros: *Mounted to a side case panel/GPU 120mm Tri-Antec fan*
-These filters do their job, catching dust well. After opening my PC a month ago, I was amazed to see all the dust build-up in my side panel fan (on the blades and surrounding area). With this filter I'll be covered I imagine.
- Since I used a Machined Skull Grill, I really don't even see the dust filter from the outside of my case at all. All the better, in my opinion. But the aesthetics are fine nonetheless. It melds in surreptitiously.

Cons: - I had to mount this filter to my fan and my grill and my case with different bolts I found lying around. But I'm sure it'll mount to most fans without a grill smoothly.

Other Thoughts: Very happy. Silverstone is a good company all around. Cannot go wrong.

Cons: Do not get this fan filter in the intent of using just the magnet, The way its aligned you cannot put the filter overtop of your screw's, you have to put it offset with the screws otherwise it wont stick

sometimes it falls off when i accidently touch it

Other Thoughts: im not going to return it because i just mounted it in but i had to get aftermarket screws because the screws that came with my corsair h60 were not long enough to go through the filter and the fan and the radiator
