5 out of 5 eggsGreat filter

Pros: I've had the 140mm version of this filter on one of my intake fans for years, and I just got this for a fan I added. It feels solid and high quality. The magnets help to position it on the case before installing the fan. Sparse support bars mean better airflow. The mesh seems too coarse to catch all the dust, but it certainly catches a lot and keeps the inside of my case cleaner. I just use a vacuum cleaner from the outside of the case to clean the filter (while the computer is off of course).

Cons: Reduces fan airflow but that's a given. Doesn't block 100% of dust, but a filter that did would probably limit airflow too much.

Other Thoughts: I recommend putting these on all your intakes to keep your case cleaner.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the job

Pros: Screw holes line up nice for 120mm fans.
Magnets give added holding power (not sure if they work good without screws going through as one I have fastened with screws in between fan and mount and the other is on the outside held on by those rubber grommets that came with one of my fans)
I could see them being easy to clean. One of mine is, the other...not so much, lol.
They look tough. The one i have on the outside blends real nice with my case. Case is black tho, lol. Fit in really nice with those rubber grommets too, no gap between filter and case.

Cons: The screen looks a little too separated. I dunno if its gonna get as much dust as I want it to. Nit picking a little here.
Price? 8 bucks is a bit pricey for a little screen like this and few magnets.

Other Thoughts: I probably should have just skipped this because I didn't really have that much of a dust problem to begin with. I'm in my case so often I just vacuum it out whenever I'm in there. But once I start not needing to be in there so often, I suppose this will help my box's longevity.

5 out of 5 eggsSilverstone 120mm Fan Filter with magnet

Pros: Bought one at first to see if it would be suitable for my purposes and to see if the magnets were sufficient to hold them in place. Bought two more after evaluating to cover the remaining two 120mm case fans. Perfect in no traffic areas such as my HTPC in a cabinet. Easy to remove and clean. Fan screws are provided in case you wish to screw them on in heavy traffic areas.

Cons: None if you have black cabinets ;-) They look like they could be an original case part.

Other Thoughts: As general filter without too much interference with air flow. Inexpensive at $8.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: Screw holes and magnets for steel cases (aluminum is not magnetic). Easy to clean

Cons: Expensive, must use screws on aluminum cases

Other Thoughts: I didn't know about this product until a friend of mine told me about them. If you have fans that suck into your case they will quickly get dusty on the intake side. This filter should prevent the dust buildup and since they are magnetic you just pull them off wash them and put them back. If there is extra space around your fans with these installed you may want to block that space so dust doesn't get sucked into the case around the filters. Good product and I'll order these again.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Awesome little filter. I wanted positive air pressure inside my system to keep the dust out, and lucky I've got removable dust filters on all of the intakes, but I wanted the rear fan as an intake (which has no filter) so this thing just sticks right to the back. I don't even use the included screws, the magnets work just fine. The filter is very fine, but non restricting.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: do they make these in dual 240 size? That would be cool

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Filter

Pros: This is a great filter. After using it for a bit I did notice my temps are raised about 2° C. Not to bad at all. I loved the way it just stuck right on. Magnets are pretty powerful. All in all a great product, but there should be a discount for buying more then 1.

Cons: None at the moment.

Other Thoughts: I am probably going to order 2 more to have as extras in case I have other builds that would require these.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: So simple and the magnets are not too strong or too weak. Easy to put on and take off, for cleaning and will provide dust protection for my comp where I had next to zero before. A very fine mesh screen but doesn't seem to affect the fans performance at all. I bought two for the 120mm side fans. Perfect.

Cons: None, at this point.

5 out of 5 eggsNice way to filter

Pros: Filter dust
good build quality
nice design

Cons: Hinder the airflow but that's expected still not enough to take 1 egg

4 out of 5 eggsDoes the job

Pros: Traps dust without introducing annoying fan noises.

Cons: Magnets are a little weak.

Other Thoughts: Like any obstruction, this will decrease CFM of your fans. If you add this to your case, be aware of that. It does what it's supposed to do though.
