5 out of 5 eggs4 USB 3.0 ports on the front of an old case!

Pros: It works!
Did not have problem installing into the 3.5" slot of an Lian-Li PC-60 Plus case.
Plenty of cable length for Mid Tower case... had to wrap both cables into one and two loops to tuck away.

Cons: Nothing really.

Couldn't locate the silver version...

Cables are a bit stiff, but most USB 3.0 cables are stiff.

Other Thoughts: Solved the problem perfectly... how to get USB 3.9 ports on the front of an old case.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat Upgrade for an older case, but cables are too short.

Pros: * Quick and fast upgrade for an older case.
* Easy front access to USB 3 and audio ports.
* Color blends right in with my existing tower color.

Cons: * Audio cable too short, should be 6 to 8 inches longer.

Other Thoughts: I had upgraded my Thermaltake Armor full tower case with a new motherboard. The older tower's header panel didn't fully support the HD audio of the new motherboard so my headphones were no longer working. Since the USB ports on the tower were only USB 2, additional USB 3 ports were needed as well. My intent was to install the Silverstone SST-FP32B-E in the top 3.5" bay which also has the panel for my power and reset buttons. In unpacking the Silverstone I noted that the cables were slightly under 24" in length which worked out great for my USB ports on the motherboard. The audio cable on the other hand was not long enough to reach the audio port on the motherboard which was on the bottom rear corner of the board. In the end I would up mounting the Silverstone SST-FP32B-E in a middle bay so that the audio cable would be of ample length to go up and over the graphics card with just a little wiggle room to spare. While it works, the middle bay isn't the most aesthetically pleasing for the look of a good computer build so I am currently shopping around for an audio extension cable. If you have an older full tower case, this product will do you good if a header panel upgrade is need, but double check your cable routing first.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks really well.

Pros: - Does everything its designed to do
-Great Price for audio, mic, and 4 usb 3.0's

Cons: -Somehow one of the plastic pieces in the 3.0 slots got brittle after 1 1/2 years and broke off but none of the others did.

4 out of 5 eggsNice add-on!

Pros: Sturdy metal, good cables, fits very well in a 3.5" drive bay.

Cons: Cables could have been a wee bit longer, including screws would have been a nice touch.

Other Thoughts: This unit is very good, i.e. sturdy, fits great, and the cables seem to be good quality. I only have two minor negatives on this unit, i.e. it should have included screws to mount it, and the cables would've been better if they were slightly longer. As for the screws, in my case it's fine, because I have plenty of spares, but some people that buy this might not have any appropriate screws. As for the cables, they were long enough to reach in the case I used, but if they were slightly longer, ESPECIALLY the HD audio cable, I could have done some better cable management. Other than that, this is a very good add-on for cases that don't have USB 3.0 or front audio connectors(like the older Antec case I re-used), and unlike others, in my case, having 2 USB cables was perfect, because the Asus Z170-A motherboard has 2 USB 3.0 headers on the board.

5 out of 5 eggsInexpensive, does the job, metal not plastic

Pros: It's metal, it's black, and it does exactly what I needed it to do. Fit and finish was decent, nice upgrade to a older Lian Li case that had really no front-panel ports to speak of but plenty of 3.5" external drive bays.

Cons: Comes with two USB3 mobo headers, with most motherboards only shipping with one. But that's a minor issue, and adapters exist to handle it, I was just lazy.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than expected

Pros: Was very surprise at quality of this item. Cable lengths are more than adequate for my needs. Cable are very well made and durable. Purchased to replace bad front audio jack in my Thermaltake case. After seeing the quality and as my motherboard is older and doesn't have any USB 3.0 connectors, I went back online and ordered the Silverstone usb 3.0 to usb 2.0 adapters. Was 3 mins to install and use.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGood product

Pros: I got this to replace the Thermaltake case front panel audio that whined and popped from day one.

HD audio is clear as a bell now.

The USB 3.0 additional ports are really nice to have also and work fine.

Wires are plenty long to reach where needed on full ATX MB and are sleeved nicely.

Very good quality all around.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Upgrade Panel

Pros: Adds USB 3.0 to older cases. Long cable length for large cases. Quality product i.e. haven't had any issues in more than 6 months.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This panel is perfect for older cases that you want to rebuild. I have a Cooler Master Storm Sniper that originally had an AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE system installed. I wanted to upgrade to a Z97 system, but the Sniper was built before USB 3.0. Found this on Newegg, and started looking for MoBo's with two USB 3.0 headers. Decided on the ASRock Extreme6.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellant

Pros: Fits and works perfectly.

I used usb 2 & 3 with no problems.

I use my headphones with no problems.

Cons: Wire insulation (usb) is a little stiff for easy wire management.

Other Thoughts: I have used previous versions of this device and this one is the best. Used this to update and clean up the front of my computer.(nasty old usb 2 ports)
Audio plugs are easier to insert jacks into, without having to push all the way to the back of the case. :)
Horizonal stacking of the usb ports always cause fit problems with multiple usb devices installed no matter what device you are using.
I wish all the other devices I installed on my computer work as well as this.
Just to be sure, you need usb 3 (19 pin) connectors and standard audio connector.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat add-on for older cases

Pros: Adds Usb 3.0 ports as well as front audio jacks to my ancient Acrylic case.

Cons: Sometimes both the usb and audio ports seem very stubborn while inserting plugs into them.

Other Thoughts: Be warned that each pair of Usb 3.0 ports has it's own header to connect to motherboard, which most only have one port onboard so you will need an add-on cord or the adapter to convert it to Usb 2.0, so in my case I'm only using the One Pair of Usb Ports along with the Audio Jacks Besides that I had no problems with it.
