Silverstone SST-FF142B 140mm x2 Fan Filter with Magnet for 320mm x 155mm fans or vents (Black)

Pros: Perfect fit for my Corsair C70 case.
It covers the top radiator 280 grill without interfering
with any of the handles or latches.

Cons: I should have got one sooner

Other Thoughts: Perfect fit

Pros: Keeps dust from getting in your tower.
Easy to clean.
Very easy to install, I mean come on you literally just stick in on the side.

Cons: You can't put two next to each other, because there magnets.
Not as thin as the ones for the 140mm fans. That's the only real bummer.

Other Thoughts: The only reason I put two of these next to one another is because I have a full tower and buying two of these is cheaper than buying 4 140mm.

Pros: -This filter is almost perfect to fit over the front intake fans on an Antec 900.
-It has little magnets to hold it on.
-It also looks pretty decent as far as fan filters go.

Cons: It doesn't quite fit between the faceplate edges on the Antec 900 so I had to trim a bit off each side of the filter to make it fit. It still looks nice, and I knew it would be a little too big when I ordered it, so I can't take off for this. The measurements that the manufacturer has listed are accurate.

Other Thoughts: Highly recommended if you have an Antec 900.

Cons: None at the moment.

Other Thoughts: -Don't heat the filter to dry it, let it air dry.
-Pretty big filter but fits on the top exhaust of my NZXT M59 case very well.
-The filter sits very flush on the top of the case. Its not warped in anyway.

Pros: It's pretty

Cons: It is supposed to be a filter but it's as if I have nothing at all filtering air. Dust piles up so fast inside my case it's as if I don't even have a filter on at all. This might stop fully grown mosquitoes but it sure doesn't block dirt at all! Also, needs more than just a magnet to hold it in place, plus it isn't even big enough to properly cover the side air vents (I have a Rosewill Challenger case).

Other Thoughts: Just really mad that I bought this instead of something less flashy looking. Would cost far to much to send it back.

Pros: Perfect fit top air vents on the pc case

Cons: expensive!

Pros: Nice looking fliter for rad protection.

Cons: Not a actual 2 140mm fan filter cuz its a little bigger than that, more like 2 150mm fan.

Pros: Catches dust.

Cons: After a few days of ownership, I noticed that the filter had bowed outward in the center, overriding the magnets holding it to the case. Instead of doing an RMA on this $15 item, I decided to fix it myself using easily removed "pull-tab" double sided tape. This would not have been an issue if the magnets that they chose to hold the filter to the case were actually strong enough to hold it flat. Seeing that strong magnetic fields and computers don't mix, I can understand making them weak. They just could have been slightly stronger and not have plastic between the magnet and the case.

It would also be nice if it came with a gasket to help seal around the edge of the filter but no such luck there either.

Other Thoughts: I'm not going to make a fuss over this filter RMA wise, $15 is just not worth my time and stress. I will definitely consider other alternatives for filters in the future. Silverstone missed on this design or their factory used the wrong blend of plastic. Meh.

Thank you very much for purchasing a SilverStone. Since the filter material is made out of nylon, please do not heat it after washing as this will cause the filter to wrap. Instead, please let the filter air dry naturally. You may also rinse the filter in water again to soften the filter so that it may return to its original flat state.
