4 out of 5 eggsNice controller

Pros: Does what its supposed to do
Plenty of power per channel (can do a push pull configuration for radiators with plenty of wattage left over on a single channel.

Cons: Does not register RPM's of fans correctly if you have more than 1 per channel

Other Thoughts: After tearing my hair out about the device constantly beeping because it said my fans were not running. I was able to find that if you run more than 1 fan per channel you need to remove the RPM pin from the all but 1 fan on that channel.

4 out of 5 eggsNo Longer Disappointed

Pros: Love the display and the touch controls

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: This is a follow-up to my earlier review of this product.

As I stated in my earlier review, I had a unit that had three defective channels. I sent the bad unit back and Newegg sent me a replacement. I installed the new unit into my computer, and all five channel were up and running. All the colors were working and the temperature sensors were working.

I use the Folding@Home program to put a load on my graphics card and test the temperature sensors while having all the fans set at 800 rpm (max speed is 1000-1200 rpm, depending on the fan) Normal temperature is aroung 36C for the GPU. With Folding@Home running at the Full setting, the temperature maxed out at 45C, which is hardly taxing the card.

I am happy with the service by Newegg in getting me a replacement for the faulty controller unit. And I am happy with the initial performance with the good unit.

This replaces the NZXT Sentry LX unit that I had in my setup, an it is a definite improvement. Worth the money.

3 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Love the display and the touch controls

Cons: Right out of the box, I installed it into my desktop today. Upon firing up the rig, the first three fan channels did not work. Channels 4 & 5 were working.

Other Thoughts: This was intended to replace a NZXT Sentry LX fan contoller. Unfortunately, three of the AeroCool unit's five fan channels did not work right out of the box. I did swap out the wiring with the spars with no such luck. I had to put the NZXT unit back in my rig for the time being. Will be sending the AeroCool unit back to Newegg for a replacement.

5 out of 5 eggs125 watts of HURRICANE

Pros: POWER! 25 watts "PER CHANNEL" (125 watts TOTAL) - Multi-Color display - Temp sensors

Cons: LOTS of wiring - it's a fan controller, it's expected.
That UGLY, AWFUL yellow tape...but not enough to lose any eggs.

Other Thoughts: I own 2 of these now. Until I find a better controller, I won't be buying anything else.

Multi-color display. I use red and blue (2 machines) and I have not had the visibility issue I see so many complaining about.

For those of you complaining about the excessive wiring...REALLY...IT'S A FAN CONTROLLER WITH 5 CHANNELS! If you are afraid of a little wiring...DON'T BUILD A PC!

OK...the temp sensors...YES, the ugly yellow tape SUCKS! I don't use it. I just use a small piece of clear tape, or a ziptie. The yellow tape doesn't hold as well as clear tape anyway. As far as it's appearance goes, I always find a spot that will be less visible to place the sensor...problem solved.

I would give this thing 10 eggs if I could...I feel that confident in the product!

All those high power fans, and not even CLOSE to needing more power from the controller!

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice compred to othe lcd touch fan controllers

Pros: very nice looking, changable color scheme, 5 fan connecters and heat sensors which can be set up easily without the adhesive (though can effect how well it detects temps) love the C or F. little delay in lcd touch response. little to no delay in turning fan speeds up or down, audio sounds superb using the hd audio jack and the usb 3.0 comes with a usb 2.0 head attached near the 3.0 head and works ( almost made me cry tears of joy)

Cons: none so far, will make a update review if something dose happen

4 out of 5 eggsGood fan control, annoying features

Pros: 5 channels of fan control
5 temperature sensors
Set a target speed rather than %
Screen can change colors
Alarm feature

Cons: Beeping can't be turned off
Can only turn outputs down to 50%, after that it goes to 0.
Included adhesive tape for temperature sensors is pretty bad.

Other Thoughts: There's a delay between turning a fan down and the fan actually slowing down. I initially thought that it simply wasn't working, but it's just slow. Turning fans up seems to be instant.

The way it seems to work is it figures out what the max RPM of each fan is, and then allows you to set a target RPM in increments of 100.

2 out of 5 eggsAeroCool Touch 2100

Pros: convenience of an LCD display touch control and the ability to somewhat accurately control the RPMs of your fans.
Definite eye candy different colors to match your computers lighting USB 3.0 on the front of your computer
sleek clean look

Cons: they used a cheap LCD display when using the controls on the left side of the display there will be discoloration on the right side of the LCD display. As well it Doesn't completely fit in 2x 5.25"bay it leaves a gap at the top of the unit. They do not explain that you will have to upgrade your fans in order for you to fully control the RPMs to a higher level (OEM fans seem to only have 1500 RPM) speed I changed out a fan that I had from a previous build that had a higher rpm rating went up to 1500 rpm Will not integrate with the motherboard andI you and a you and is not a thermal sensor controller lacks four pin connections to get accurate readings I do believe the readings are only estimated. screen viewing totally sucks you have to look directly at it in order to get accurate viewing. if you have any light around the system you will get glare on the screen preventing you from seeing the information on the LCD. Sensor cables are way too short, poor quality control had a damaged USB port, and is not worth sending back for repair. all in all not worth the money and is not state-of-the-art this unit is not innovative and is extremely overpriced I should've just made one would cost me less and I would put better quality control into building it myself. Disappointed in the product altogether

Other Thoughts: if they're looking for someone who could truly design them a innovative unit please feel free to contact me I'll be more than happy to teach you how to create a unit that would be considered innovative and actually does the job it's supposed to do

5 out of 5 eggsJust what I needed!

Pros: Multiple colours for touchscreen
Ability to turn fans off completely (along with their LED's)
Looks cool and matches my case nicely (HAF 932)

Cons: There is an annoying beep when you press buttons on the screen, this is easily solved by covering the speaker on the pcb with a few layers of electrical tape.

Other Thoughts: If you are connecting multiple fans using a splitter to a single channel, you must disconnect the rpm wire on all but ONE of the fans. If not the fan controller gets confused and constantly will set the fan alarm off (beeping noise) and turn those fans up to max rpm for a few seconds.

4 out of 5 eggsLooks Awesome

Pros: Looks absolutely awesome in my Thor Case. Touch screen works well and reports temps fairly accurately (within couple degrees Like the additional headphone jack since I am not a big fan of the location of the one on my case. Lots of colors.

Cons: Audio connector had one wire completely broken off at the controller side. Required some work to get repaired, but not worth sending back. I would have taken two eggs, but it just looks too good in my case. Thermocouple leads are a bit short, especially for a Full ATX case. Would have been nice if they were a foot or so longer. Manual is fairly useless (as is usually the case now a days) but everything is pretty straight forward. with some of the colors, it is difficult to read the screen unless looking directly at it. Thankfully the red does not pose this issue for me.

1 out of 5 eggsgarbage

Pros: Easy Install

Cons: Bought this unit, and installed it today. Everything went fine until I turned it on. 3 of the 5 fan controllers were dead. I swapped out multiple 3 pin fan cables, fans, and did multiple troubleshooting before I finally confirmed it was something I could not fix without returning it to the manufacturer.
