2 out of 5 eggsHas Issues

Pros: LCD has good visibility, good temperature control. Like the dual speed idea, set speed then full speed when temp is triggered.

Cons: When starting up runs all fans at full speed for a minute (noisy) before backing off to set speed. Using a "Y" connector is impossible (weird) for multi-fans?? Will run fans at full speed but indicates speeds from 0 to max!!! Will not work for multiple fans on a rad that you want at same speed. Minimum speed is only 1/2 of max speed.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat but lacking a few things...

Pros: I love the look, fits anyone's computer style. Easy to read and will make anyone's box look that much more futuristic. 25w channels an improvement over the 5w from my old controller. Comes with 2 spare fan connectors and temperature sensors. Durable all metal build and good light up USB Ports.

Cons: Doesn't completely fit in 2x 5.25"bay, there is about a 1/16"gap height-wise. Absolutely NO molex connectors at all. Connectors are easily rejoiced and pulled from the back of the face plate and is annoying to reconnect once you screw in the front. You cannot control fans that don't return an RPM reading (standard 2 wire fans in a 3 wire connector, or a molex to fan connector adapter), it'll just read out 0 RPM and you have no control over those fans at all.

Other Thoughts: This isn't really good for those looking to control molex fans or non-controllable fans because it doesn't locally adjust the voltage, it uses the fan's built in voltage resistor. Other than that, it's slick looking and very functional as a good thermometer and fan cable management.

5 out of 5 eggsNo Regrets At All!

Pros: A very splendid Fan controller. I absolutely enjoy it. Now I couldn't decide whether to get this or another similar fan Controller, the thought was in the pictures they did not seem very satisfying. Although the color adjustment won my vote. I didn't think the fan controller would look, as I wanted. Ordered it for a high price, but every penny of it, well spent. The fan controller looks amazing. installed to my mobo, love the 3.0 USB Ports! As well, as the option if your mobo cannot support more USB 3.0, well an extension for 2.0 USB Ports, Love it! No regrets on choosing this over Any other fan controller!

Cons: No Cons :)

Pros: Just responding to a review post. Shopping for a controller and the problem got my attention

Cons: See above.

Other Thoughts: Jim on 3/10/2013 7:17:53 PM posted he was having trouble with fluctuating rpm reading when using a Y adaptor to have 2 fans on one channels. Here's my take on that.
The fans are feeding back an rpm signal. Each fan has its own signal. When you Y the connection the rpm signal is distorted. The controller is not programmed to average or decipher 2 different signals. This is easy to solve. On the one fan that concerns you the most keep the yellow rpm lead in tact. On the other fan drop back an inch or two and cut the yellow lead. Dress the ends with tape. The erratic behavior should stop.
Other wise spread out all the fans on independent channels even if you have to buy a second controller.
And no I don't work for newegg or the maker of the controller.

5 out of 5 eggsAeroCool FTW

Pros: Multi colored LCD interface. Colors are Blue, Red, Green, Orangeish gold color, amethyst purple, a turquoise blue, and white (looks more lavender purple to me). Multi fan plugs, with only 6 you can control on the screen. Same thing with the temperature wires. Control fan speeds (Found out later through customer service, which was quick and responsive itself, that the fans can only be turned up to their factory max). It also is fairly accurate with temps. I think mine were 1~2C off. You can raise the temp limit before the device warns you about whatever component is getting too hot. I guess another perk is the 2 USB 3.0 ports along with the microphone and headphone jack for whoever needs it.

Pretty decent quality overall...especially considering the other LCD touchscreen fan controllers.

Cons: My only peeve is that the white color background isn't really white, more of a lavender purple IMO. As another person said, this is made to look directly at or down on. If your rig is in a high place, you might want to reconsider your purchase of this.

Another thing that irks me is the USB 3.0 and ports. I wish they made a version which was a bit cheaper without that stuff. ( I don't need it, and I am sure there are others who don't either). I wasn't too fond of the heat tape they supplied.

Other Thoughts: Psyched about this. Read reviews of the old version of AeroCool and NZXT LCD controllers and they didn't fare well. Thought I would wait it out and I am glad I did. Poked my head on Newegg and found this gem. Definitely would recommend this to friends etc.

4 out of 5 eggsAlmost

Pros: -Multiple Color choices
-Nice display look

Cons: -I am having issues with XSPC fans and this fan controller. I use a Y adapter to connect two 120mm fans to channel 1 and two more 120mm fans to channel 2 and this fan controller does not like that for some reason. It should be just fine, but I am constantly getting fluctuating RPMS and the fan controller constantly drops down to zero RPM's causing the annoying beeping to happen, then it bumps back up to 1500 RPMS. It constantly does this even though the fan itself isn't actually dropping RPM's much less dropping down to zero. Don't know what I can do to fix this. They advertise 25W per channel, with my two fans I have at MAX 5 watts on the channel. Makes no sense to me...

Other Thoughts: If anyone knows what I can do to fix my problem let me know. Still haven't figured it out. Besides the Y connected XSPC fans I have, the stock case fans I have connected into the controller work just fine.

Also, worth mentioning, the LCD display is meant to be looked down on. So if you have this on high bay of your case and on top of your desk, your not going to get a very clear display.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Fan Controller

Pros: High Quality Product. Very Sturdy. 7 Color Schemes So It Can Match The Colors In Your Case (If Thats What You're Worried About) HQ LCD Screen.

Cons: A LOT Of Wires! A Case With Good Cable Management Is A MUST Because You Got The Fan Connects, TPM Probes, HD Audio Connect & The USB3.0

Also Its Only 25W/Channel So If You Want To Fully Utilize Your High Performance Fans, Your Better Off Connecting Them 2 Your Mobo.

Other Thoughts: This Looks Great In My Coolermaster HAF 922 Case. Matches The Color Scheme Of My Case & If I Want 2 Change The Color Scheme, Its As Simple As Pushing A Button. Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Pink(ish) Aqua Blue(ish) & Magenta... & Theres A Off Setting For If U Dont Want A Color (Dont Know Why But Yeah)

If You Really Dont Need The TPM Probes, You Can Always Disconnect Them & Use Them For Another Build. If You Plan On Using The Full Monty, Pre Route The Cables In Your Case Because It Is Alot Of Clutter

Pros: Work and works well while looking good also

Cons: It beeps very loudly every time you push a button, the tape for the temp sensors does not work well

Other Thoughts: Probably one of the best fan controlers for the money

3 out of 5 eggsnot bad

Pros: multiple color option is very cool - big screen is nice and crisp.
control of 5 fans and temp monitoring is nice.

Cons: there is no way to lock the screen and a option of dimming the display would have made this controller perfect.i have high rpm fans installed and the controller only goes down to 1300 rpm. more control of the fan speeds would have been nice.on another fan controller i have i was able to get my 3500 rpm fans down to 900 rpm with out it stopping the fans.

Other Thoughts: make sure you do your homework on the fans you install on this controller.
