5 out of 5 eggsDurable

Pros: Work as advertised. Nice leds. Price.

Cons: Somewhat noisy.

Other Thoughts: I just had to oil one of these after five years of use. Not bad considering the price. I had to get creative to oil the fan because the normal oil point was solid plastic on mine.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible

Pros: It is cheap.

Cons: Within ten seconds of install it burnt one of the insulating wires along the entire length of that wire. It was billowing smoke. Fan was running but no LEDs lit up, probably just a defective part. Says 10.49 for RMA shipping.. no thanks.

1 out of 5 eggsSpeeds not as advertised.

Pros: Nice LED that matches those that Rosewill uses in their fans.

Cons: Advertise to be in the 1800-2000 RPM range but I'm only getting 1250 RPMs max.

Other Thoughts: I got this fan to replace a slow Rosewill case fan that I was using as a temporarily fix for a broken scythe fan I had prior.

I was using the Scythe fan on my Hyper 212 heat sink and getting max speeds of 1900 RPMs. However the Rosewill fan I replaced it with was barely braking 1000 RPMs max. I got this fan mainly for it's speed but having just now installed it I can only get it to max out at 1250 RPMs. This is a real disappointment. I don't believe this is a software problem as I've tried disabling it and running the fans on max and still have the same problem.

Maybe I got a dud but this is a real disappointment and don't think I'll be taking another chance with Logisys anytime soon.

3 out of 5 eggsWasn't Too Bad-Until It Went Bad

Pros: It looked cool and was cheap

Cons: It makes a horrendous sound now, so I don't use it anymore. I got a little over a couple year's worth out of it, so factor that into the price to see if you want to buy it.

3 out of 5 eggsVery Loud

Pros: It's a fan
lights are neither too bright or too dim

Cons: Very Loud

Other Thoughts: As others have said, this fan gets very loud, which I knew buying it. However, the problem isn't it's load volume, it's while idling. Unless you don't mind it being loud even while just web browsing, check your motherboard's fan controls, you probably want the ability to turn it off.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Fans

Pros: Great price and move a lot of air

Cons: Are a bit loud even at 50%

Other Thoughts: I bought these knowing they arent the best or quietest fans. They do what you need them to do and at a good price. Attached to a fan controller these are great fans but have to be turned down pretty low to avoid the noise. All in all a good purchase

4 out of 5 eggsThey do what they are supposed to

Pros: I like lots of fans in my builds. I never want to look back and wonder if I didn't have enough airflow in my build and if that is what caused a component failure. For me Logisys fans have the best bang for the buck when it comes to fans. Especially LED fans. There's nothing otustanding spec wise that put these above other fans, but they have a great RPM to price ratio.

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: What exactly is that thing/mascot on the Logisys logo?

2 out of 5 eggsGood while they lasted

Pros: Bright blue LED, relatively cheap, quantity friendly.

Cons: Purchased on 2/10/2010 about 8-12 months in the fans began to rattle and shake growing unbearable over time. The fan began to hit a near by wire, it didn't cut but it made a baseball card in a tire kind of sound

Other Thoughts: Worth the money spent but I don't mind replacing parts every so often

4 out of 5 eggsStill Works

Pros: have had mine for long time and still works fine. Can get a little loud if you don't keep it clean, but that s more user error. Losses an Egg for a Grinding it was making out of the box, filed it down and its fine now.

Cons: Out of the Box grinding, fixed but yeah. Hit/miss with this kind of stuff

5 out of 5 eggsPretty quiet

Pros: Really quiet when done right.

Cons: -

Other Thoughts: If you're using the Molex connector but don't want it to sound like a jet engine and the System 3-pin on the motherboard is populated, just switch out on the female molex connector the +12V pin to the 5V pin hole. Use a needle (with caution <3) and carefully look for the two pieces of metal that the pin holds itself to the connector, push them both in and pull the connector out. Then look for the hole where the red connector (5V[last hole on the other side]) goes and with the same needle bend out the pins on the side of the connector so it can clip and stay put on the female connector (1mm max). You now have a quiet fan that can still pull a good amount of air.
