5 out of 5 eggsfits a niche

Pros: Perfect for my Fractal Design server mini cases.

Cons: Doesn't match the Fractal Design color scheme.

Other Thoughts: Does what it's supposed to do- I hope it lasts a very long time.

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't deserve to be called "stealth"

Pros: Would be an OK regular fan if Vantec were not falsely boasting "stealth"

Cons: Fan is no way "stealth" it is too loud, found other reviewers on the web complaining about the noise too. Doesn't deserve to be called "stealth" false advertising. Could be the fan blades are a poor design other reviews saying it's the Ball Bearings.

Other Thoughts: I returned mine for refund lost shipping cost both ways, bum fan don't say you haven't been warned.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet, yet works well!

Pros: This fan is slightly larger than most stock 80mm fans. But if you case can fit this 92mm fan, I would recommend it. How many fans come with a Lifetime Warranty? This one does.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: None.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes what it claims

Pros: Meets all of the specs listed and performs quietly.

Cons: Does not have a 4 pin connector or PWM support. Unfortunately, I found out after it was delivered that my mobo has a 4 pin PWM output right next to the rear exhaust port where I installed this fan. Unfortunately because this is not a 4 pin PWM fan, I cannot control the speed of the fan via the mobo or BIOS. It just runs at the same speed all of the time.

Other Thoughts: This is made clear through the specs, but I hadn't learned about all of the details before ordering.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet and cheap

Pros: Does exactly what it's supposed to. Running on average ~715 RPM as directed by the motherboard (not molex direct) and it is very quiet. Very easy install and it's been running smoothly.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Using for rear case exhaust fan. Replaced original installment.

2 out of 5 eggsNot as quite as hoped

Pros: Decent CFM rating at low rpm level

Cons: Bearing has developed an annoying random rasp at all speeds.

Other Thoughts: Have had great luck with Vantec Stealth fans in the past. Was disappointed when after 2 weeks of use the fan bearing on this 92mm fan developed a rasp that can be annoying listening to it all day when in use. Took me awhile to figure out where the rasp was coming from. Thought my power supply fan was going out. But after troubleshooting, discovered my new 92mm exhaust fan was what was making the random rasp. Maybe I was unlucky and bought a rare fan with a bad bearing.

5 out of 5 eggsSimply great...

Pros: These have a lifetime warranty but their known to be just about bulletproof reliable. Plus they run cool and near silent(even more silent if you slow them down). If only more products could be this way.

Cons: Not a con but for some reason people these days think these fans are outdated. Last time I checked alot of aftermarket coolers use 92mm fans and alot of off the shelf computers do as well.

Other Thoughts: Honestly I saw these fans about 100 times before but for some reason I figured I would give them a try after building my newest build and finding the cpu coolers fan was the loudest thing in the case. A quick and easy swap and boy was I surprised. Runs cooler at almost half the speed of the previous fan.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice fan

Pros: great value fan, moves air pretty well

Cons: no fan grill, but its okay, case has a honeycomb grill built into it there.

Other Thoughts: some people reviewed this to be an ungodly loud fan... what the hell is their problem? i can barely hear it while i type this review, the keyboard is drowning out the fan noise lol.

5 out of 5 eggsThese things run forever...

Pros: I have about 50 of these things in the field and not one of them has failed yet.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I tried some other more exciting brands for color or silent insulators, but they kept failing. I have come back and replaced them with the Vantecs. They just work.
