5 out of 5 eggsWorks!

Pros: Cost

Cons: Only a 4 pin plug

Other Thoughts: Would have been nice to have a 3 pin plug and a 4 pin plug, but for the cost I can't complain.

4 out of 5 eggsDependable So Far

Pros: - Inexpensive
- Decent airflow
- Dual ball-bearing

Cons: - Loud

Other Thoughts: I purchased two of these nearly a year ago. So far I haven't had any issues. I'd recommend something else if you want a more quiet computing experience. If you're looking for something dirt cheap that gets the job done then this is the item for you.

3 out of 5 eggsOk fan. Good value.

Pros: Decent flow. Moderate noise. Possible cheap, video card fan jury-rig candidate.

Cons: If you want a very quiet system, you'll need something more like 22dba or less if it's a case fan (right on the frame of the case). (or even less if you a picky)

Other Thoughts: Video card jury-rig: I glued one of these onto a video card that had a bad, hard-to-find (I could not find replacement) fan. It works ok, though not quite as much airflow as a fan that could fit property inside the housing. Since it is not on the case (like a normal use), the 27dba noise isn't bad as a video card internal fan -- my very quiet system is still decently pretty quiet this way

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent for 5 Volts

Pros: Inexpensive, quiet, standard fan.
Comes with dual Molex M/F connectors.

Rewiring the male Molex is fast and easy with a dental pick. Remove the 12v and 5v pairs. On the male pins, clip the pair that goes to the female Molex. Plug the 5v male pair to the 12v side of the plug and you're done.

This fan starts easily on 5v and runs silent. Air flow is reduced accordingly, but sufficient to quietly exhaust hot air from the case.

Cons: No tach. This is a non-problem for case fans.

Other Thoughts: The simple 2-ball bearing arrangement runs with the shaft horizontal in most installations. This is more of a requirement for sleeve bearings, but fine for ball types.

Running at 5v this fan should last a very long time.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: Simple to install. Reasonably quiet. Good airflow. Well balanced with no vibration problems. Fit an 80mm plastic cage perfectly. Not cluttered with extra wiring or 3 pin adaptors. Simple and humble with no transparent parts or colored LEDs. Very economical for people who don't need complete silence. The sound is gentle and doesn't interfere with TV or music in the same room.

Cons: It's almost as loud as a small, perfectly running refrigerator.

Other Thoughts: I have 2 in a full sized tower. They are much quieter than the PC's old sleeve bearing exhaust fan. These fans are an excellent value and do what I need. I like them very much.

4 out of 5 eggsIt works...

Pros: Quiet, easy to install, and reliable.

Cons: $6.99 shipping? Come on...that's just ridiculous. Shipping's more than twice the price of the actual item. I didn't notice till after I placed the order. If I noticed that, I would've just ordered one from China or something for that amount of shipping.

Other Thoughts: Good product, lame shipping price.

4 out of 5 eggsCheap & Dependable

Pros: Basic fan, not much to say about it. Pretty quiet, but nothing to sing about. I purchased 3 (one sucking front fan, and 2 for the back pulling air out).

Cons: A tinny bit on the noisy side, but nothing bad. This is the only reason I didn't give them a 5.

Other Thoughts: Works well, hope they last a LONG time. It would be nice to have the smaller connector as well.
