5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Good little female 4 pin to male 6pin firewire adapter.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It was cheaper to buy a 15' 4pin to 6pin cable with this adapter than it was to buy a 15' 6pin to 6pin cable. I just electrical taped the adapter to my cord so it won't come unhooked.

5 out of 5 eggsSturdy and functional.

Pros: Does what it's supposed to do. Well constructed. Male and female ends provide tight connections without problems using several devices and cables I've used. I have an analog video to digital video converter that can be harmed by power surges from the PCI adapter card. Utilizing this adapter, I can be sure that power isn't transferred to my video device because the 2 power pins are deleted at the 4 pin end.

Cons: Shipping is high for an item this small. I tried adding this to an order and it still added several dollars to the overall cost of shipping.

Other Thoughts: I wish we could convert matter into energy so I could just download this thing instead of paying shipping.

5 out of 5 eggsGood product

Pros: Does exactly what it's supposed to.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I've heard some people have some issues with clearance, but I used this adapter to convert the 4-pin Firewire video out cable on a video camera to the 6-pin Firewire input on my computer and I had no problems.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks, its a converter

Pros: I have a 4pin to 4pin Firewire cable I used on my laptop as it has a 4pin connection. My Video Camera is a 4pin (as most are). Now my new desktop has a 6pin, this allowed me to use the same cable. nice

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Saved money by using this converter, it works nice.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes its job.

Pros: Will probably never break, unless you run it over with a steamroller. Won't fall out of the port by accident. Good adapter, good price.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: <3 Newegg.

5 out of 5 eggsNot a flimsy piece of junk

Pros: It's very sturdy. YOu would have to work to break this thing. It works great with this:

Cons: None really.

Other Thoughts: Small. Not bigger than it needs to be.
