Got this one which is really nice as it isn't a wide cable. Allows for good air flow. Other than that - it works. it's a cable. Other Thoughts: The plastic pieces that transition from the round cable to the rectangular connectors are useless; they do not provide any strain relief nor protect the individual conductors. Needed these cables for an older computer that we're getting ready to donate. I was worried about the HDD's being too far away, but this cable had plenty of length. Nice looking cable and if I needed another ATA cable, I'd recommend these. Cons: This isn't against the Link Depot product, but Newegg... do you really need to send them in such a huge box with all those non-biodegradable packing peanuts??? Seem like they work ok. Worked for me for a few weeks on striped array then failed. Since they worked for weeks, I did not suspect the cable, until recently. Reinstalled entire OS, bought new hardware and all this time it was these junk cables. What a nightmare. Other Thoughts: Just live with the ribbon cables you have already and avoid the headache.
