5 out of 5 eggsdoes what its supposed to

Pros: does what its supposed to do. very shiny and colorful.

Cons: not really a con, but its super rigid and not very hideable. If its for an older maching(htpc, headless server) its fine, but if your worried about cable managment, go somewhere else.

Other Thoughts: does whats its supposed to do and still works today.

5 out of 5 eggsATA133 UV Cable

Pros: Long enough to reach from the harddrive bays to the dvd bays on a full tower. Connections are labeled as to where plug each on, so even someon with very little knowledge of the inside of a system can install them.

Cons: The wire binding tube is not physically attached to the plugs and you can pull the wires out of the sleeve leaving them exposed. Probably not good for RFI shielding if that is even an issue.

4 out of 5 eggsLong cable is Long

Pros: This cable can be used backwards (As can most if not all IDE cables) so it was able to fit my needs.

Cons: - I was looking for a cable that was long in between the primary and secondary portions, this one wasn't much longer than stock, and not long enough for my needs. (Read Pros)

Other Thoughts: Cable is VERY long, a Newegg will ship in a much bigger box than needed because the cable is so long.

3 out of 5 eggsHUGE

Pros: I love the design of these cables.

Cons: THEY ARE HUGE. I don't mean length, sure its 36" but the diameter and the size of each end are way too big. I amazingly found room in my case for one and it was helpful, but there is no way i could fit two.

Other Thoughts: I recommend a standard ribbon or switching to SATA if you can. I think it's worth it just to buy adaptors that change from IDE to SATA.

4 out of 5 eggsMake sure to make room

Pros: Makes Windows XP fly.

Cons: Very little room in case for these to fit.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you have lots of room for these to fit...better yet...convert over to SATA if you can.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: It works fine

Cons: Cheaply made. The green shielding doesn't provide a jacket around the plugs, exposing the actual fragile ribbon cable. This is probably fine as long as you don't pull hard on the cable and disconnect the devices by pulling on the plug instead.

4 out of 5 eggsIt works

Pros: Does the job as advertised.

Cons: The outer jacket of the cable is not attached to the end connectors so you need to be very careful when removing the cables as to not break them.

5 out of 5 eggsLink Depot 36" Yellow ATA133 cable

Pros: Nice and long, good quality shielding, and sturdy construction.

Cons: It wasn't free.

Other Thoughts: I have this in a full tower case, and it is quite a stretch for two of my drives. This was just what I needed.
