5 out of 5 eggsworks

Pros: knew the difference in DVI connections(there are two types of DVI I believe) to know this is the one I need, just wanted to connect my DVI out PC to my new HDMI monitor, i know it won't up the graphics as my PC is NOT HDMI out :) i know i need to upgrade but I just like SP3 hahaha.

Cons: none that I could think of i knew it would fit and not cause monitor instability.

Other Thoughts: know your connections, just saiyan {(DVI-I which is actually digital Visual, not video,Interface-then I for Input ;)}

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what it says

Pros: Went from component to this, my TV only had DVI output and my cable box had HDMI or component so there was a big improvement.

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: people complained about the piece being heavy, didnt go that way on my system

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as Expected

Pros: Hooked up a family room PC to a 61" DLP TV. Image is great, for Windows, Linux and gaming.

Cons: Since the cable end now has a added length, it may vibrate out over time, so screw it in.

Other Thoughts: Looks like a quality product.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as Expected

Pros: Purchased to enable my DVI out from HTPC to a new Sammy 61" DLP (LED light engine version-- only has HDMI inputs). Seems to work perfectly as I can't identify any artifacts, ghosting, fuzziness, etc. from PC picture output when viewing movies, web browsing or playing PC games. Well built, seems heavy weight with a solid core.

Cons: It adds some weight at the connection so if it connects horizontally (typical) and you have a heavier DVI cable attached to it, it sort of droopd down at the HDMI connection into the TV. Hasn't been an issue or fallen/pulled out however.

Other Thoughts: That's it. AMC appears to be a capable company and has many higher quality connector products.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the job

Pros: Adapts DVI cable to HDMI inputs. Solidly built. It helped find me a girlfriend.

Cons: It didn't really help find me a girlfriend.

Other Thoughts: Check the accessability of your HDMI inputs! By the time you attach this to a DVI cable, the end can be quite bulky. I lucked out and could plug my cable/adaptor combo into one of the three HDMI inputs on my TV. The other two were too obstructed. Depending on their location you may need to get a 90 degree adaptor instead.
