5 out of 5 eggsIt works!

Pros: Absolutely no issues. Was purchased when adding a second optical disk drive to a tower.

Cons: It cannot cook French Toast.

5 out of 5 eggsIt works but why oh why do I still use these

Pros: Does what it's supposed to do.

Cons: Man do these things take up space.

Other Thoughts: I got this to replace an IDE cable for a CD-ROM drive that my Dad needed but had misplaced (I think the dog got to it). I didn't know much about IDE, so got this thinking it would connect both the CD-ROM and floppy to the mobo.

Jokes on me. Turns out the floppy uses something LOOKS like IDE but is not. So now I have this huge IDE cable that I probably don't need. I mean, it still connects the CD-ROM, but I only need a cable 25% this length and with one less connector.

Check to make sure if you can get away with one of the IDE cables that squeeze into a rounded cable. Saves so much space.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: cheap cost, works fine

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I needed one of these to connect both a HDD and a CDRW drive in a computer I was cheaply building for someone. Works great

5 out of 5 eggsState of the art!

Pros: These are excellent cables. Teflon does in fact have a minimal effect on transfer rate so go for it!

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsAtA flat ribbon cable

Pros: extra 24" length make it easier to install if you have a large case

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: could create extra air flow resistance in a smaller case.

4 out of 5 eggsWrong Image, but Cable Works

Pros: It's an IDE cable, it has 3 connectors, it is color coded, and it works.

Cons: The image shows a cable connector w/o pin 20 being blocked off. While some IDE cables do come like that, this particular cable comes with it blocked. Should not be a big deal, though.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, inexpensive!

Pros: Excellent inexpensive IDE cables for those of us still running devices using IDE. These particular cables are better suited for long runs, extra tidy wire management or extra large cases. Bought extra as spares.

Cons: A bit longer than I anticipated, especially the gap on the primary/secondary end.
