Pros: Overall, Great Surge Protector for multi-use in home or office. 6 feet is just enough distance between power outlets and electronics.

Cons: It would be good if there were a couple of extra outlets (10 outlets) available. But 8 outlets should be enough for most of the users.

Other Thoughts: RJ-11 protection is outdated (I don't need that for sure). Would be nice to find another model without it for similar price. Not a big deal: it sits on the floor out of sight anyway.

Pros: I got this to replace my trip lite brand that was only 720 Joules and I have very high end gaming system and monitor.

Pros: Very nice compact design, higher joule rating than most competitor's products in this price range. The 360 swivel of where the cord meets the bar is an awesome feature. I actually shopped around before buying this model; Staples sells a lower model from APC for a lot more money. You can't go wrong with APC surge protectors as the have one of the fastest surge/spike reaction times in the industry.

Cons: None so far other than I wish I had bought more on the same order if I knew that this was the redesigned model that has more joule protection (see below). I have a few more power bars that could use updating.

Other Thoughts: The picture shown of the supressor is the older, wider design. The picture of the box is correct in the item pictures. Newegg needs to update the item's pictures as the bar shown is of the older deisgn (I already had the model of this bar with the coaxial protection. You do receive the 2525 joule protection, not the 1700-something in the item description.

Pros: It's a surge protector. The layout is effective (4 wall warts and 4 standard plugs spaced in an excellent way), the phone line protection is a welcome extra, and the recessed power button is a nice touch. Also a perfectly acceptable price, for what you're getting.

Cons: As others noted, it doesn't have RJ-45 (ethernet) surge protection. It doesn't say it does, so there's no egg off, but it would have been just that much better with it.

Other Thoughts: Even with eight outlets on this, I still need two surge protectors beneath my desk. Maybe I have too many electronics.

Pros: A fine device.

Cons: Item description says 1750 Joules, but the box in the photo, and actual box received, say 2525 Joules.

Other Thoughts: Did I get more Joules than I paid for?

Pros: It is what it is and claims to be - almost. I do like the way the outlets are spaced, as it easily handles wall warts, and AC devices.

Cons: The AC plug differs from one P8T3 to the next.

The key holes for wall mounting only allow 3 directions (no North allowed) rather than 4.

And, the swivel is not 180 degrees as stated. It is more like 165 to 170 degrees. But, it is useful.

And, it does not allow RJ45 support, which I knew prior to purchasing, so I am ok with that.

Other Thoughts: Would it have been that difficult to make the key holes 4-way instead of 3-way?
