5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Product, I'm Very Pleased

Pros: This surge protecting power strip was chosen over others for the Recessed On/Off Switch. There was a very similar one from another manufacturer but it's power switch was where one might accidentally kick it under the table and shut off the PC by accident. This one, the APC, can't do that because of the recessed switch.

Cons: The only Con I can think of is that it wasn't free. Otherwise, it provided everything I needed and it gave me peace of mind that my daughter's PC is now protected and safe.

Other Thoughts: When I was trying to decide which surge protecting power strip to buy here at Newegg, (which is almost exclusively where I buy electronics), I only compared three brands - APC, CyberPower, and Tripp-Lite. These three manufacturers are the most reputable when it comes to things like UPS'es so I figured that with that background in other AC protective devices that I could trust them with this too. My advice is to stick with these three companies for Surge Protective Power Strips.

5 out of 5 eggsSlick little iteam

Pros: Good Looking, I mean as good as it gets for mid range surge protectors. Lotsof inputs and a long cord makes me give this product five golden eggs

Cons: I live in south Florida so we will be testing it out during hurricane season

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Well built even though it is lightweight.
-Fail safe built in for surges over 1750 Joules.
-Spaced, parallel outlets are useful for oddly sized plugs.
-Recessed power button is hard to accidentally turn off with your feet!

Cons: -Takes a lot of force to push plugs in all the way, although it does hold them in well once they're there. May be a bit of a pain if you're swapping plugs often.

Other Thoughts: A fine and decent product!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Works very well, and has some really handy features such as well spaced outlets and sockets with built-in covers.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I would totally recommend it for computers or anybody who has a computer or has a lot of big appliances to plug in.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's Newegg and APC, what can you say?

Pros: I've purchased a few of these surge protectors. The three big "pros" are: Its APC, I've never had too big a plug because there is so much space, and the power button is simi-recessed. It is nice because if your surge strip is under your desk at your feet, it is not as likely you are going to hit the switch by accident.

Cons: None that I know of. I've never had a surge that tested the actual protection

5 out of 5 eggsGood product

Pros: Outlets spaced well so you can use all the plugs. Has cable TV which is nice if you're running that into your computer. The unit feels solid.

Cons: Designed to lie on its back as shown in picture. Takes up a bit of space on the floor.

Other Thoughts: Another good APC product
