Pros: Allows a lot of KVM connections in a smallish space.
Cons: Connectors sometimes come loose at the KVM switch resulting in loss of video or keyboard input from a server (or distortion of colors - not so bad).
Other Thoughts: I have about 100 of these in use and they're not bad. The Omniview Enterprise series has been discontinued. I've experienced a high rate of failure of the actual KVM units.

Too slender to attach properly
Pros: Package deal comes with all the cables, brackets and screws you'll need. Besides that I didn't get a chance to use it.
Cons: Cables do not attach to the KVM. This is the cable required by the F1DA116Z KVM, and we bought 2 sets of the package deal included KVMs, all cables, brackets and screws. The features proudly boast "modified slender thumbscrews for easy installation." Well, the thumbscrews on the cable do not engage the nuts on the KVM at all, so the slightest tension on the cable pulls it out. Whatever other features they may have, these $1500 rack-spacers are absolutely useless to me if they can't stay attached to the servers.
Other Thoughts: It's a stupid problem to have, but believe me we tried to get it to work. It's close. The screw goes into the nut, but is either about 1 thread too narrow or too short to actually engage and tighten. Our only options at this point are to physically modify or replace the nuts, the D-Sub itself, or the thumbscrews on 16 dualport connectors. That, or send it back.
