1 out of 5 eggsWorthless when you need it

Pros: Lots of outlets and a long cord.

Cons: Worthless as a surge protector.

I recently had an electrical issue in my home that resulted in a power surge. In the affected room, I had one of these, as well as a couple cheap, white, no name surge protectors. Everything attached to this Belkin protector was lost. Everything attached to the cheap, no name protectors was fine.

Other Thoughts: Belkin requires receipts for EVERYTHING, including the surge protector, in order to process any claim for attached products. Ownership is not enough. I didn't keep the receipt, becaus it was a fairly low value purchase. My fault, to be sure. I now have 4 of these, and similar models, around my home. I will be replacing them all with something more effective.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Surge Protector

Pros: Price Friendly
Good Protection
Ground Indicator was helpful (see below)

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: So when I first bought this product I lived in an old duplex, built in the 70s, the light indicating that the Surge Protector wasn't grounded was lit up, even though it looked as if they recently, in the last 20 years, installed new wiring. However when I moved to my new apartment the light no longer came on, nice indicator, seems to work like it should.

5 out of 5 eggsworks, good quality

Pros: I have always liked Belkin products, not much to say on a surge protector hope I never need it! But the quality is good, style is good. And as always Newegg is just plain awesome.

Cons: none

4 out of 5 eggsIt works

Pros: - Multi ports
- space for block plugs
- true surge protection

Cons: -none so far

Other Thoughts: This was used as the base end of a daisy-chain of surge protectors (it was plugged into the wall, while 4 other surges was plugged into it).

This was purchased for a LAN party. there were 3 CPUs, 3 monitors, 2 xbox 360s, two 8 port 1gb switches, and a laptop, plugged into the chain. There were more PCs and hardware, but not plugged into my surge ports.

This little baby handled it all and didn't trip off from over use. I did a fair bit of research before purchasing, but at the same time I didn't want to drop 50+ dollars on something that sits under a desk for its product life.

I gave it 4 stars because there wasn't a chance to test it's power protection: no surges, fuses blown, or electrical storms. I would say that if you have had no problems with power outages in your area, and you can control the amount of wattage going into your surge protector, then this is the protector for you.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It works just like you would expect it to. Wire management is a nice inclusion, and the power switch is at the top, making it easy to access yet out of the way. I haven't been disappointed by Belkin surges yet and will continue to use their products.

I personally like the design of this product and the slimness is always helpful when trying to keep things organized.

Cons: The power inputs don't swivel like some other surges I've seen, but this is taken care of by the spacing.

Other Thoughts: I got it while it was on sale. Should have gotten more.

5 out of 5 eggsGood to go.

Pros: I recently had a massive surge. 3 outlets burned up and we lost a few things around the house. Everything plugged into these puppies made it through just fine. I was playing the TV and Xbox 360 when it hit and my PC was on.

Cons: None, Nice investment!

1 out of 5 eggsdid not work

Pros: cheap, RMA # is easy to get and as usual Neweggs delivery was fast.

Cons: Does not work out of the box. RMA is useless since it cost $14.99 to buy ande $14.51 to send back. First time I have received an item that did not work. I will have to be careful when buying inexpensive items.
