2 out of 5 eggsStraight out of 1997!

Pros: Electrons WILL flow from one end to the other

Cons: Belkin should know better. While these cables work, the world has moved on. Because these are separate cables, they are messy in a rack envioronment. You can twist tie, zip-strip or cable wrap them, but a molded one piece is still nicer. The PS2 portions have no ID markings, so you have no idea whether the OTHER end is plugged into the mouse or keyboard port unless you trace them back, OR mark them yourself at installation. And as someone else said, the video cable is not the best. It's okay for 1024x768 but not much more.

Other Thoughts: Belkin, the world has moved on. There are much better products available at the same or cheaper price (just peruse the Newegg catalog and you'll find many!). Use these ONLY if you can't find something else.

5 out of 5 eggsA crazy experience, but good

Pros: Fine. Easy to use thumbscrews etc. Obviously works perfectly with the Belkin OmniView KVM switch. I have two sets of these cable sets, this is the third. Very high qualtity cable construction. Some folks have commeted on the video cable performance...they're probably right, I haven't examined the video purity through it, just using it for a server application.
If you have a problem (like I did) Newegg will help you out. And, if you have continueing issues, Belkin will replace it for free. Very good support from both companies.

Cons: None. Well, I wish the shipping charges were less. They end up being about 80% of the product price...ugh. Still probably a better deal than buying at brick/morter store.

Other Thoughts: The third one of these I got had a *bizarre* manufacturing or packaging defect. The video cable had a massive damage to one of the metal connector ends, and damage to the cable outer jacket part way along, where the connector touched it in the packaging. The damage in question is what you'd get if you used the cable to short out an electrical outlet.
I'll send it back to Belkin so they can figure out what the heck is going on at their manufacturing facility....very strange.

3 out of 5 eggsNot the best buy

Pros: Inexpensive
3 seperate cables means that if 1 cable goes bad you're not totally shafted

Cons: The video cable is not of good quality. It has virtually no shielding (it's barely thicker than the PS/2 cables), and in my case it greatly reduced the quality of the text rendering on my monitor.

Other Thoughts: These are ok if you need a cheap solution right away, but if you want quality it's likely that you'll have to pay for it.
