Gold Series Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Cable Pros: Thick Durable Does not get warm from use excellent shielding Cons: slight memory in the cable (retains bends) Other Thoughts: The is cable is great, I use it witb the Steinberg UR22 (mkI) audio interface and it's flawless. The thick gauge of this wire makes it perfect for this kind of stuff. The thicker wire allows for longer cable lengths. Prior to using this cable the interface would disconnect periodically (with different cables), I assumed that it could of been due to cable loss and this cable remedied that completely. The shielding does help a tiny bit with the noise but it's not too noticeable as there is little to no interference nearby. I'd certain it'd help in worse off locations and is certainly better than having ferrite cores on a cable (which is against usb specification). I would recommend this cable to anyone needing to run longer lengths or something more critical than a standard printer. Did you find this review helpful?
