It works as described. I like the fact that it screws in place and stays there firmly.

4 out of 5 eggsTerrible packing by NewEgg

Pros: The unit itself is nice.

No fault of Belkin that it arrived broken; that is ALL NewEgg's fault.

Cons: My 'retail' unit arrived with a piece broken and rattling inside the box.

It was shipped inside a thin cardboard box akin to a tissue paper box...no padding inside at all!

Other Thoughts: It will cost 50% of the price in shipping to get the thing RMA'd for a 'free' replacement.

Thanks NewEgg!!!

5 out of 5 eggsneed more power Scotty

Pros: nice design easy to mount. I used them to get rid of a powerstrip laying on the floor collecting dust. No surprises simple and easy.

Cons: none yet and I hope I don't have any :)

Other Thoughts: when mounted you cover both outlets so be aware you are getting 6 outlets for 2.

5 out of 5 eggsCame with my PSU.

Pros: Does what it's suppose to.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It came with my Antec 1000w PSU. It works just fine, nice and sturdy, and you can even mount it to your wall outlet.

5 out of 5 eggsSimple to install

Pros: Very simple to install. No need to remove wall plate to install these. Just remove the screw holding the wall plate (keep that little screw), plug this in, then screw it down.

Green LEDs are bright enough to see even when tucked behind tables, etc., but not too bright to disturb you in a room that you want to keep dark.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Inclusion of surge suppressor in this format is nice. Cost effective way to deploy surge suppressors where you really need or want them rather than paying an electrician to install "whole house" surge suppression in your electrical panel.

This format is ideal for renters. When you move, remove this little block, reinstall the little screws that used to hold the wall plate, and move out with your surge suppressors.

5 out of 5 eggsuseful

Pros: I own a couple of these and use them in areas where I need more outlets but don't want any power strips and wires hanging out. Use it for things like fish tank, kitchen stuff...

Just don't expect these to have enough surge protection for a computer or other high dollar equipment.

Cons: not free

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great Couldn't Pass up Shell Shocker!

Pros: They work.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Bought these because of the cheap price. I wouldn't plug my rig into them but for household appliances there great.
