Cat 5E Gray Patch Cable Pros: It shows in windows that I have a gigabit connection Cons: I do not actually have a gigabit connection with this cable. there is something wrong with the cable. I have it connecting my home server to my router and when I try to watch a video stored on the server it buffers for 2 to 3 minutes and then plays for 5 seconds, then goes back to buffering. Cons: None really. Other Thoughts: Since there were no other comments when I got it, I decided to say something. It runs from second floor down to first. It runs over the doorway to the stairs, so I do not step over it. That's mostly why I needed it so long. Newegg delivered it quick enough for me, three business days including a weekend. For now, I will use this instead of putting holes in my walls. Too much wireless around neighborhood already, so I am staying wired for now. Did you find this review helpful?
