5 out of 5 eggsPS/2 Converter

Pros: This works great with my Belkin KVM! I tried the Rosewill adapters which did not work.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Should have went with this one first.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Works well.

Cons: More expensive than some others.

Other Thoughts: The TRENDnet convert just plain works.

I tried a cheaper (but almost identical looking) unit from QVS and it
would sometimes quite completely and have to be unplugged and
re-plugged. When the QVS converter was working, it mishandled
shift-lock key events.things with the shift-lock key events.

No problems with the TRENDnet converter: the shift-lock key works the
way it's supposed to (as an additional "Control" key).

5 out of 5 eggsworks with my Belkin KVM

Pros: allows me to connect a USB mouse/keyboard only PC to my PS2 only Belkin 8 port KVM and works flawlessly
no additional drivers needed, it just worked, and on Hyper-V server

Cons: i had to buy it because i didn't want to spend a few hundred on a new KVM

Other Thoughts: does what it's supposed to do

5 out of 5 eggsworks

Pros: I still have machines with PS/2 keyboard/mice. I have KVM switchboxes that do not support USB keyboard/mice. These have worked in the situations I've put them in.

Cons: none, so far.

4 out of 5 eggsalmost works

Pros: nice looking, does what I needed it to do

Cons: mouse doesn't work

Other Thoughts: Device driver installed automatically in Win7-64, keyboard works fine; mouse pointer moves and highlights, but neither left nor right button works. Doesn't matter, I use wireless mouse, but don't like wireless keyboard.

5 out of 5 eggsThis one works

Pros: This item works well. I have used many of these USB to PS/2 converters and they all have worked sometimes. This one seems to work all the time. I don't have to replug it, power cycle or flip my switch box for it to find my computer. I'm using it on a KVM that is in use 100% of the time I use my computer.

Cons: Little bulkier than I think it needs to be.
