With three HDMI inputs and one HDMI output, the Coboc HM-SW-4KUP-3X1A switch allows you to connect up to three sources, like Blu-ray player, game console and computer, to one display and easily switch between them. Stereo L/R and optical Toslink digital connectors are built onboard for audio output. The #1 HDMI input is also MHL-enabled thus you can plug in smartphone, tablet and other compatible mobile devices. Selection can be performed via front panel button or the included remote control.

This model supports up to 4K2K ULTRA HD and 1080p Full HD resolution for pristine picture quality after switching, and can up-scale 1080p signal to 4K x 2K for improved viewing experience. It boasts two operation modes - Bypass mode for compatibility with various sources and displays, and LMAGE mode (up-scaling) for use with 1080p source and 4K display. Plus, built with metal enclosure, this switch is thermally conductive, and strong and durable enough for years of hassle-free use.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks but with only one Proplem

Pros: I run everything at 1080p and still use RCA speakers and it does just that.
Sound is clear and picture is great.
The remote works but you will need a clear sight shot to the switch. Anything that blocks it, it wont pick it up.

Cons: The only problem i have is that when i use my computer the sound connects and disconnects on and off while i don't have any sound playing. If i'm playing a game or movie when the sound doesnt stop i have no problems.

Other Thoughts: If your going to use this for gaming consoles, blu-ray players and/or TV it will work great but it gets annoying on your computer when a window keeps popping up that tells you your plugging and unplugging a audio devise in and out.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Small, IR blaster.

Cons: I wanted to use this to send :
1. Chromecast
2. Cable Provider
3. Blur-Ray
to my projector and the audio to my Audio System.
You have to plug/unplug the power each time you close the output (projector) to get the audio. Half the time my projector doesn't like it. Otherwise, there is no sound comming out of this box.
I also was never abble to get my Service Provider signal, When I bypass the box, everything works fine.

Also, It doesn't come with a remote!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks with 2K and 1080P@120hz

Pros: worked with HDMI 2.0 cabled to deliver:
1080p@120hz
2K@85Hz

Cons: Auto select does not seem to work in my particular setup.

Other Thoughts: I am an EE and I do some audio and have done video work for churches setting up the video projectors, I have seen many HD cable issues, so I hope my lessons learned, the hard way, may help you.

I bought this specifically to have the bandwidth to support 1080P@120hz = 17.82Gbps, it did that with zero issues. This is an equivalent bandwidth for 4K@30 hz.

I don't have a way to test 4K @ 60hz, HDMI 2.0 is supposed to be two data channels each supporting 18Gbps. But I have no way of testing if this switch is using both channels with my setup.

Make sure you have output cables that support the highest input bandwidth or this switch will not appear to work. When it is not its fault.

Get at least two high bandwidth cables to troubleshoot each input, to make sure the signal is good before using long cables. Test the output cable first with the highest bandwidth input with a short high bandwidth cable. Now try any long input cables.

Longer runs can be a nightmare. I use switches like this so that only one long cable is needed to be run to the projector. If you run long cables over power cables make sure to cross them perpendicular and keep them 18" apart.

HDMI is packet based, just like the internet so a powered splitter can act like a switch for long runs if needed. I would never go over 50' even with an active cable.

If in doubt look for active cables as they "balance" the line to get the best signal possible.

5 out of 5 eggsupdated after replacement

Pros: After receiving a replacement product, I am happy to report that the unit video works well and the audio pass through is now giving me 5.1 audio.

Cons: The original unit was broken.

Other Thoughts: When setting this up make sure your devices have auto detect settings turned off. For example, it took me 30 minutes to figure out why my ps3 would output 5.1 but not my 360 or Xbox one. Easy if you know, frustrating if you don't.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Easy to install. Remote works well. Sound & Image quality seems great

Cons: Didn't work with my 720p tv. Upgraded to 1080p tv and it worked fine

Documentation could be better. No information on COBOC or tech support online that I could find.

3 out of 5 eggsdisappointing

Pros: Remote works well. I had another switcher that wouldn't do 1080p on my ps3. Instead it did a weird flicker. The video on this unit seems fine.

Cons: The main reason I bought this was for the optical out which doesn't work well. The audio snaps, cracks and pops. I tried multiple cables and messed with all of my consoles audio settings but no dice. Not sure if I have a defective unit but right now I'm disappointed.
