5 out of 5 eggsSplitter

Cons: its make sure people don't see it

4 out of 5 eggsJust what it says

Pros: Cheap splitter cable. I used my molex tool and looked at the crimps. They are accurately placed, and crimped tight.(of the one cable inspected).

Cons: The plastic molex connectors seem really cheap. They are thin and it almost seems like the 4 pins are actually what is holding most connections together.

Other Thoughts: One egg off for the puny molex plugs, but 4 eggs for the crimping and price.

5 out of 5 eggsThey work

Pros: They do the job

Cons: not sleeved?

Other Thoughts: Honestly can't complain. They do the job at a good price. They have the same issues that anything Molex does, but they do what they're supposed to do.

4 out of 5 eggsGets the job done

Pros: I purchased this in the hope that it would get the job done and it certainly has done that and it's done it for a long time now. I recently purchased a second one when I upgraded PCs and the second one works just as well as the first one.

Cons: As was mentioned in other reviews the connectors a little wobbly inside the connector. However once they are connected it's not an issue at all.

Other Thoughts: They may not be beautiful or perfect but they have worked just fine for me for some time. If you're looking for something that looks pretty (if, for example, your case has a clear side) then this may not be the splitter for you. If you're looking for something that gets the job I doubt you'll find a better value.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, but....

Pros: Price.

Cons: Last week, I spent 4 days chasing down what was causing 3 of my hard drives to start showing corruptions. I initially thought one or more of the hard drives was going bad, but that ended up not being the case. I tested almost everything.

Finally, I put my power tester on the Rosewill RCW-300 power splitter. It initially tested OK, but I noticed the power in one of the plugs would cut out. Bingo. Because of shorting in the bad plug, power was intermittently going on and off to the hard drive it was connected to, thereby causing the HD corruptions.

Long story "short", I replaced the power splitter, and then wiped and reformatted all the drives (all were backed up), then reinstalled everything, and all is good again. After inspection of the power splitter, I could find no obvious cause in the plugs themselves, so it must have been in the plug wires themselves, so I tossed it.

Other Thoughts: This was the first time in 25 years of building computers I've ever experienced a power splitter failure, and have used Rosewill's for several years. I'll buy them again, but....

Pros: -Cheap

Cons: -Kind of low quality
-One of the prongs on one of them (I bought two) kind of moved back.

Other Thoughts: I'd buy them again
