5 out of 5 eggsRosewill 24p to 20p power cable for MB

Pros: These work on older power supplies with the 20pin power
cable. I needed another for my new upgrade.
I have been using these for years because my FSP 350W
power supplies keep on running so I keep using them
for my new MB's

Cons: None if your MB power demands are moderate.

Other Thoughts: I don't know if these work on high power systems.
My systems use on board video. I have no cards plugged
into the MB. I use CPU's 100W or less.
So for me this works.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Converts a 20 pin over to a 24 pin so you can use a older power supply.

Cons: A little stiff and not very long but works great.

Other Thoughts: I didn't even know they made these until I was looking on here its a great way to use a older power supply on a newer board.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes what it should.

Pros: - Works like it should.
- Cheap!

Cons: - Not sleeved, but that might be asking a bit much at this price.

Other Thoughts: Could be of a little nicer quality, either a flat cable or sleeve would've been great. Other than that it works like it should.

5 out of 5 eggsWorked as extension

Pros: It works. What else is there to say?

Cons: Seems a little pricey for a just a little adapter?

Other Thoughts: I ordered the wrong thing by accident - I meant to get a 24-pin to 24-pin extension because my ATX power cable was too short. However, since my PSU had a 20+4 pin connector, I just used the 20 pins and the adapter, and everything seems to be running just fine.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: None

Cons: Needed to use it in another PC quick for testing and the two yellow wires pulled out of one of the connectors.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you very much for purchasing this unit. We strive to provide the most reliable and highest quality products to our customers. Those should be locked into place with a metal tab that bends outwards. Are those metal tabs still there? If so, then you can reconnect the wires by bending those tabs outwards a little so they can snap and lock back into place after you push it through the hole. If you are still having issues after that, please contact the Rosewill support team either via phone at 800-575-9885 or via email at techsupport@rosewill.com.
Thanks,
Rosewill Customer Care

5 out of 5 eggsWorth It

Pros: Free Shipping, good price.

Cons: None, just plug in and away we go.

Other Thoughts: Purchased in case I needed it for a new motherboard I ordered (Biostar G41M7), and guess what...I needed it. A lot cheaper than buying another power supply.

I should have ordered two!

5 out of 5 eggsit works

Pros: does what it is supposed to without adding too much additional length to psu cables

Cons: addtional connection within the power pathways, but thats what you get with adapters and connectors . . . signal loss or egress or what-have-you.

Other Thoughts: If you love your rig, buy it a good psu. and a power conditioner (furman from musicians friend).
